The BMI calculator includes a housing having opposite front and rear faces, opposite first and second sides, and a free end portion. A display is viewable through the housing front face. A processor is disposed within the housing that calculates and displays, via the display, a BMI number in response to user entry of weight and height data. A user control is operably connected with the processor and located adjacent the display.

    Abstract: A promotional apparatus for use in holding badges and other forms of identification includes a first housing, a second housing, an extendable and retractable cord that tethers the first and second housings together, and a badge holder secured to the second housing. The cord is normally retracted within one of the first and second housings such that the first and second housings are in adjacent relationship with each other when the cord is normally retracted. The badge holder and second housing can be retractably extended away from the first housing by a user. When extended away from the first housing, the second housing is free to rotate about an axis. The first housing includes an attachment device that releasably secures the first housing to a user's clothing and allows a user to extend the badge holder away from the first housing without dislodging the first housing from the user's clothing.

The camera display displays an image of an object taken by the camera with weight and/or length information for the object.

A first end of the second measuring tape is fixed to the housing and an opposite second end of the measuring tape is movable within the housing such that a portion of the second measuring tape between the first and second ends thereof extends from the housing via the second opening and forms a loop that is retractably expandable and that is configured to measure a circumference of an object. A goniometer is pivotably secured to the housing and is movable between a stored position and a plurality of operative positions that allow measurement of angles of movement of patient limbs, joints, etc.

Indicia that indicates incremental units of a third characteristic is disposed on the member and is viewable through the window. Movement of the member to align first indicia units with second indicia units causes display of third indicia units via the window.
