Abstract: A promotional writing instrument includes an elongated barrel having opposite first and second ends, a writing element located at the first end, and an electronic body mass index (BMI) calculator located at the second end that is configured to display a BMI number in response to user entry of weight and height data. The BMI calculator includes a housing having opposite front and rear faces, opposite first and second sides, and a free end portion. A display is viewable through the housing front face. A processor is disposed within the housing that calculates and displays, via the display, a BMI number in response to user entry of weight and height data. A user control is operably connected with the processor and located adjacent the display.

Abstract: A promotional apparatus for use in holding badges and other forms of identification includes a first housing, a second housing, an extendable and retractable cord that tethers the first and second housings together, and a badge holder secured to the second housing. The cord is normally retracted within one of the first and second housings such that the first and second housings are in adjacent relationship with each other when the cord is normally retracted. The badge holder and second housing can be retractably extended away from the first housing by a user. When extended away from the first housing, the second housing is free to rotate about an axis. The first housing includes an attachment device that releasably secures the first housing to a user's clothing and allows a user to extend the badge holder away from the first housing without dislodging the first housing from the user's clothing.

Abstract: An envelope holder having the shape of a lady's high heel shoe includes an elongated sole having a forward toe portion and a raised heel portion. A heel extends downwardly from the heel portion and supports the heel portion when the envelope holder is in an operative position. A plurality of spaced apart rigid retaining members extend upwardly from the toe portion and are configured to retain envelopes placed therebetween. When the envelope holder is in an operative position, the toe portion is configured to lie substantially flat on a surface.

Abstract: A business card holder having the shape of a lady's high heel shoe includes a rigid, elongated sole having a rigid toe portion, a rigid inclined heel portion, and a rigid intermediate portion between the toe portion and inclined heel portion. A rigid heel extends downwardly from the inclined heel portion and supports the inclined heel portion when the business card holder is in an operative position. A rigid shoe upper extends over the toe portion and includes a free edge portion. The shoe upper free edge portion, sole intermediate portion, and inclined heel portion define a pocket that is configured to hold a plurality of business cards for distribution therefrom.

Abstract: A handheld apparatus for measuring fish, game, and the like is provided and includes a scale, a camera, and a length measuring device. The scale includes a support member that extends outwardly from the apparatus housing, and a display that is visible through the housing. The support member is configured to suspend an object therefrom for weighing via the scale, and the display is configured to display the weight of an object suspended from the support member. The length measurement device is configured to measure the length of an object and the display is configured to display the length of an object measured by the length measurement device. The camera includes a lens, an image sensor configured to capture images obtained via the lens, and a camera display. The camera display displays an image of an object taken by the camera with weight and/or length information for the object.

A first measuring tape is disposed within the housing, and is retractably extendable from the housing via the first opening. A second measuring tape is disposed within the housing. A first end of the second measuring tape is fixed to the housing and an opposite second end of the measuring tape is movable within the housing such that a portion of the second measuring tape between the first and second ends thereof extends from the housing via the second opening and forms a loop that is retractably expandable and that is configured to measure a circumference of an object. A goniometer is pivotably secured to the housing and is movable between a stored position and a plurality of operative positions that allow measurement of angles of movement of patient limbs, joints, etc.

A member is movably secured to the housing and a peripheral portion of the member extends from the housing adjacent the panel edge portion. Indicia that indicates incremental units of a first characteristic is disposed on either the panel edge portion or the member peripheral portion. Indicia that indicates incremental units of a second characteristic is disposed on the other one of the panel edge portion or the member peripheral portion. Indicia that indicates incremental units of a third characteristic is disposed on the member and is viewable through the window. Movement of the member to align first indicia units with second indicia units causes display of third indicia units via the window.

Abstract: An adjustable display device for computer monitors includes a pair of panels that are slidably connected together such that the display device has a compact configuration and a plurality of extended configurations. The slidability of the panels allows the display device to be adjusted to fit computer monitors of any size. The hinges allow the display device to rotate between stored and operative positions relative to the monitor.

The second barrel portion is transparent and hollow and includes an open end and an opposite closed end. A fluid is disposed within the hollow second barrel portion and is viewable through the transparent second barrel portion. A plug seals the second barrel portion such that the fluid is prevented from escaping from the hollow second barrel portion. The plug is configured so as not to contact the inside surface of the first barrel portion even under flexure of the first and second barrel portions.
