Abstract: Devices, methods, and systems for detecting false color in an image. An edge preserving filter is applied to an image sensor output to generate a first demosaiced image. A low pass filter is applied to the image sensor output to generate a second demosaiced image. A hue difference between the first demosaiced image and the second demosaiced image is calculated. A false color region is detected responsive to the hue difference exceeding a threshold hue difference.

Abstract: A multiport switch distributes conversations over links in a trunk. The multiport switch includes receiver ports, transmitter ports, and a routing engine. The receiver ports receive data frames belonging to one or more of the conversations. The transmitter ports transmit the received data frames over the links in the trunk. The routing engine distributes the conversations over the links in the trunk by identifying at least one field in each of the received data frames, assigning each of the received data frames to a corresponding one of the one or more conversations based on the identified fields, and selecting the links in the trunk over which to transmit the received data frames based on the conversation assignments.

Abstract: In one aspect, there is provided a video decoder including a first write port to write uncompressed video data to a first buffer in a first format adapted based on an input required by the video decoder and to suppress writing to the first buffer. The video decoder also includes a second write port to write uncompressed video data to a second buffer in a second format adapted to provide the uncompressed video data for subsequent processing external to the video decoder.
