Abstract: A system and method for capturing professional billing services and other information associated with a communication event executed or received by a stationary or portable computer or a mobile communications device. Captured information may include, without limitation, client/customer name, telephone number, email address, event start time, event end time, event billable time, amount charged for the event, billing rate, and notes/activities associated with the event. In addition, the invention enables customization of any or all of the foregoing by a professional services provider prior to issuance of a bill or invoice for professional services.
