Abstract: Example illustrations of a storage rack configured to store a transportable aircraft landing system are disclosed. A storage rack may include a base structure configured to be secured upon a single pallet, and a plurality of vertically extending support members, or wall members, that are fixed to the base. The rack may thereby define an enclosure separated into a main enclosure and an upper enclosure elevated from the base structure. The storage rack may also include a hinged structure that is pivotally mounted and configured to enclose an interior storage area adjacent the enclosure in a closed position. The hinged structure may be pivotable from the closed position to an open position allowing access to the interior storage area.

Abstract: A transportable ground tower for an aircraft landing system, and methods of assembling and raising the same, are disclosed. The ground tower may include at least lower and upper tower sections configured to be assembled to form a ground tower structure extending substantially vertically from a ground surface in an operational orientation. The lower tower section may have a pivot configured to be pivotally secured to a stationary ground base. The ground tower may also include a stand pivotably secured to one of the plurality of tower sections, which is configured to support an end of the assembled tower structure in an assembly orientation to permit assembly of one or more tower devices to the tower structure.
