    Abstract: Composite fabrics for waterproof applications are disclosed. In one embodiment, the composite fabric material includes a middle section of three-dimensional fabric with a first surface and a second surface. A first barrier layer is proximate to the first surface and is substantially impermeable to water vapor and liquid water. A second barrier layer is proximate the second surface and is substantially impermeable to water vapor and liquid water.
