Abstract: A method of pH regulating biomass residues includes the steps of: providing biomass residue comprising solid and liquid parts; exposing the biomass to one or more separation steps, wherein said biomass is separated into one or more solid fractions having a reduced content of water, and one or more fluid fractions; and adding a pH regulator to the biomass residue, and/or the one or more solid fractions, and/or the one or more fluid fractions, wherein the pH regulator comprises a juice derived from agricultural biomass and/or fish manure.

Abstract: A system and a method for treating biomass with a gas includes at least one conduit having at least one biomass inlet and at least one biomass outlet, at least one gas inlet and at least one gas outlet. The system further includes a transport unit configured to move the biomass through the conduit from the at least one biomass inlet to the at least one biomass outlet thereby defining a biomass transport direction. The system is configured such that gas flowing from the at least one gas inlet to the at least one gas outlet crosses the biomass transport direction.

Abstract: A system for processing an agricultural waste biomass product into grinded product includes a cutting and mixing unit configured for cutting and mixing harvested biomass to a first uniform size and blend and a grinder unit configured for cutting biomass to a second uniform size. The cutting and mixing unit is in fluid communication with the grinder unit through a first transport unit configured for transporting the biomass from the cutting and mixing unit to the grinder unit.

Abstract: The present invention is related to recycling of fermentable and metabolizable biomass materials for sequentially performing a cultivation of fungal cells and for producing biogas by anaerobic fermentation of said biomass materials.
