  • Patent number: 8056826
Abstract: A rail-mounting assembly has a base frame formed unitarily with a pair of side members and a pair of end members generally bridging ends of the side members and having inwardly directed generally vertical inner end faces. At least one web extending horizontally between the members has a horizontal upper face and defines with the members a vertically throughgoing aperture. A top plate spaced above the base frame has a lower face having a portion spacedly vertically confronting the upper face of the web and a pair of outwardly directed outer end faces longitudinally horizontally confronting the inner end faces of the end members. An elastomeric body is bonded to each of the outer end faces and the respective confronting inner end face and to the upper face of the web and the portion of the lower face confronting the upper face.

  • Patent number: 6986470
Abstract: A track fastener has a top plate spacedly surrounded by a frame and connected to the frame by a body of elastomer bonded to both the top plate and the frame at all surfaces at which the elastomer fills the gap between the two. The frame has hoods overhanging ribs of the elastomer which have inclined flanks covered by the elastomer as the elastomer reaches down from the gap between the hood and the rib to the top surface of the top plate lying below the receiving surface of the top plate on which the rail bears.

  • Patent number: 6789740
Abstract: Rail mounting assembly of the type in which a top plate is secured to a frame by an elastomer body surrounding the top plate and bonded to both the top plate and the frame. The rounded ends of the top plate and frame receive the elastomer in gaps between downwardly and inwardly inclined surfaces while the elastomer between the longitudinal flanks of the frame and top plate has downwardly open voids which are narrower toward the end of the top plate and wider at a midpoint.
