Abstract: The document securization method includes: a step of printing a distribution of dots on the document, the printing, as a result of unanticipated unknowns in printing, causing an unpredictable variation, dot by dot, of at least one geometric characteristic of the printed dots and prior to the print step, a step of generating the distribution of dots so that dots of the distribution have at least one geometric characteristic that varies among dots, the geometric amplitude of the generated variation having the order of magnitude of the unpredictable variation. Preferably during the generation step, in the dot distribution: at least half the dots of the distribution are not laterally juxtaposed to four other dots of the dot distribution, and at least one dimension of at least one part of the dots of the dot distribution is of the same order of magnitude as the average for the absolute value of the unpredictable variation.

  • Publication number: 20100014122
Abstract: The document identification method comprises: a step of generating an image, a step of marking a plurality of documents to form said image on each said document with unique variations on each document, the majority of the images formed on said documents presenting a physical anti-copy characteristic satisfying a pre-defined criterion such that said characteristic of the majority of the copies that can be produced based on these images do not satisfy said pre-defined criterion, a step of characterizing said variations to form a unique imprint of the mark formed, for each said document and a step of memorizing said unique imprint. In embodiments, said image only comprises two colors. In embodiments, during the step of characterizing variations, frequency analysis is utilized. In embodiments, during the step of memorizing, the imprint is stored in a database and/or the document is marked with a mark representing the imprint affixed individually on the document.

  • Publication number: 20090308530
Abstract: The authentication process comprises: a step of transferring a holographic matrix onto a base, a step of marking the holographic matrix by laser shot, in order to produce a digital code that cannot be interpreted by the human eye, preserving the optical diffraction properties of the holographic matrix, and designed to enable the detection of a copy of a document realized using the holographic matrix. Preferentially, during the marking step, the impact of each laser shot presents a greater dimension and a depth allowing the hologram's optical diffraction properties to be preserved.

  • Publication number: 20070192123
Abstract: The authentication process for a group of products includes, for each product: a step for marking the product to produce a mark representative of a first content and, a step of associating a data carrier to the product, the data carrier bearing an item of information representing, firstly, the first content and, secondly, a key specifically assigned to the product in the group of products, the representative item of information being, as a result, different for each product of the group.
