    Abstract: This invention relates to polymers made from low molecular weight polyamide oligomers and telechelic polyamides (including copolymers) containing N-alkylated amide groups in the backbone structure. The described telechelic polyamides are used as the soft segment in the described TPU. These telechelic polyamides are unique in that they have an unexpectedly low glass-transition (desirably 30 degrees C. or lower) which makes them suitable for further reaction and polymerization, allowing for the formation of the described TPU. The resulting TPU can provide improved hydrolytic, oxidative and/or thermal stability as well as improved adhesion to other materials, especially polar materials.

The memory controller is adapted to maintain a metadata log in a region of the memory and to store in the metadata log a start address and a gap address used in the start-gap wear-leveling algorithm, and upon initialization to access the metadata log to retrieve an initial start address and an initial gap address for use in the start-gap wear-leveling algorithm. In another form, a memory module may comprise a memory buffer including such a memory controller.

    Abstract: An internal bracing system is disclosed for stabilizing a joint such as the knee, shoulder, ankle or the like. The internal bracing system includes an extra-articular tension band mechanism and an anchor assembly therefore. The internal bracing system adds substantial control to unstable joints which is effective in limiting the pathological joint motions and internal slippage. The anchor anchoring assembly designed to affix a tethering device to various bony structures which form a joint, for the purpose of providing stability. The anchor assembly includes an anchor and a set screw. A series of disc structures compressed by the set screw securely holds the tether without binding.

In some embodiments stimulation may comprise a burst pattern having an interburst frequency corresponding to an intrinsic brainwave frequency, and regular and/or varying intraburst stimulation parameters.

    Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes a mount member received in a metallic shell. A tongue portion is integrally formed with a front end of the mount member. Accordingly, a grounding plate, first receptacle terminals, and second receptacle terminals that are at the front end of the mount member can be positioned. In addition, the front ends of the first receptacle terminals are held in a first surface of the tongue portion, and the front ends of the second receptacle terminals are held in a second surface of the tongue portion. Since the tongue portion and the mount member are formed integrally with each other, the first receptacle terminals, the second receptacle terminals, and the mount member can be firmly positioned with each other. Accordingly, when the connector is impacted by a foreign force, the components of the connector would not detach from each other easily.

    Abstract: Provided is a vanadium oxide film which shows substantially no hysteresis of resistivity changes due to temperature rising/falling, has a low resistivity at room temperature, has a large absolute value of the temperature coefficient of resistance, and shows semiconductor-like resistance changes in a wide temperature range. In the vanadium oxide film, a portion of the vanadium has been replaced by aluminum and copper, and the amount of substance of aluminum is 10 mol % based on the sum total of the amount of substance of vanadium, the amount of substance of aluminum, and the amount of substance of copper. This vanadium oxide film has a low resistivity, has a large absolute value of the temperature coefficient of resistance, and shows substantially no hysteresis of resistivity changes due to temperature rising/falling.
