Abstract: Objective discrimination of a disease label of a depressive symptom with respect to an active state of a brain is achieved. One means for solving the problems of the present invention is to provide a discriminating device for assisting in determination of whether a subject has a depressive symptom. The discriminating device includes a storage device for storing information for identifying a classifier generated by classifier generation processing based on a signal obtained by using a brain activity detecting apparatus to measure, in advance and time-sequentially, a signal indicating a brain activity of a plurality of predetermined regions of each brain of a plurality of participants in a resting state, the plurality of participants including healthy individuals and patients with depression.

Abstract: Disclosed is a composition for promoting hair growth and ameliorating, preventing or treating hair loss containing 2?-fucosyllactose (2?-FL) as an active ingredient, and a method for promoting hair growth or ameliorating, preventing or treating hair loss, the method comprising administering to a subject in need thereof 2?-fucosyllactose. Treatment with a combination of testosterone and 2?-fucosyllactose increases hair gloss, increases hair length, reduces a hair loss area, enhances hair cuticles, increases the number and size of hair follicles, and improves expression of proteins and genes related to hair proliferation and growth, compared to treatment with testosterone alone, thus being applicable as a substance for various food and pharmaceutical compositions based on effects of promoting hair growth, improving hair loss, and ameliorating, preventing or treating hair loss.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method and a system for measuring a displacement of a structure based on fusion of asynchronous vision measurement data of natural target and acceleration data of the structure. A scale factor, which is a conversion factor between a pixel resolution of the image frame data and a distance resolution of real space, is calculated using image frame data taken at a predetermined first sample frequency of a stationary target outside the structure by a camera installed on the structure, and acceleration data measured at a predetermined second sample frequency by an accelerometer installed on the structure, over time. A vision-based displacement value of the structure is estimated using a feature point matching algorithm and the scale factor.
