Publication number: 20220293273Abstract: Presented are systems and methods for the accurate acquisition of medical measurement data of a body part of patient. To assist in acquiring accurate medical measurement data, an automated diagnostic and treatment system provides instructions to the patient to allow the patient to precisely position a medical instrument in proximity to a target spot of a body part of patient. For a stethoscope examination, the steps may include utilizing object tracking to determine if the patient has moved the stethoscope to a recording site; utilizing DSP processing to confirm that the stethoscope is in operation, utilizing DSP processing to generate a pre-processed audio sample from a recorded audio signal; using machine learning (ML) to determine if a signal of interest (SOI) is present in the pre-processed sample. If SoI is present, using ML to evaluate characteristics in the signal which indicate the presence of abnormalities in the organ being measured.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 30, 2022Publication date: September 15, 2022Applicant: AdviNow, Inc.Inventors: James Stewart Bates, Kristopher Perry, Chaitanya Prakash Potaraju, Pranav Bhatkal, Aditya Shirvalkar, Tristan Royal

Patent number: 11164679Abstract: Presented are systems and methods for examining patients and generating diagnostic medical data to make automated diagnoses and treatment recommendations to patients and doctors. Various embodiments of the present invention provide patients with diagnostic tools and audio/video guidance to reliably and accurately perform clinical grade diagnostic measurements of key vital signs. In embodiments, this is accomplished by using an automated remote (or local, e.g., in the form of a kiosk) end-to-end medical diagnostic system that monitors equipment usage for accuracy. The diagnostic system analyzes patient responses, measurement data, and patient-related information to generate diagnostic and/or treatment information that may be shared with healthcare professionals and specialists, as needed. Automation provides for timely, hassle-free, and cost-effective health care management that takes the stress out of doctor visits, while delivering personalized health care.Type: GrantFiled: June 20, 2017Date of Patent: November 2, 2021Assignee: ADVINOW, Inc.Inventor: James Stewart Bates

Publication number: 20210186312Abstract: Presented are systems and methods for the accurate acquisition of medical measurement data of a body part of patient. To assist in acquiring accurate medical measurement data, an automated diagnostic and treatment system provides instructions to the patient to allow the patient to precisely position a medical instrument in proximity to a target spot of a body part of patient. Based on a series of images acquired from a kiosk camera and an instrument camera, these instructions are generated. Subsequent images from instrument camera are analyzed by automated diagnostic and treatment system utilizing a database and deep convolution neural network (DCNN) to obtain measured medical data. An error threshold measurement by the automated diagnostic and treatment system may determine the accuracy of the instrument positioning and the medical measured data. The measured medical data may be communicated to a physician.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 8, 2021Publication date: June 24, 2021Applicant: AdviNow, Inc.Inventors: James Stewart Bates, Kristopher Perry, Chaitanya Prakash Potaraju, Pranav Bhatkal, Aditya Shirvalkar, Tristan Royal
