In particular, the present invention relates to a cap (1) for distributing the air output by a heating or air-conditioning unit with forced convection or with natural convection, characterized in that it comprises a deflector (3, 103) having one or more vanes (13, 113), each vane being orientable so as to adopt a position in which it is inclined to the vertical so that its outer end faces towards the wall against which the unit is fitted.
