Abstract: A device (300) for collecting debris from a surface. The device has a generally planar matting material (15) the undersurface of which is formed with depending bristles (14). The device (300) has an opening (16) therethrough which when the device is moved over a ground surface (18) with the bristles (14) in contact therewith debris on the ground surface (18) pass through the opening (16). The forward and aft edges (361, 362) of the matting (15) are provided with transverse stiffening members (363). A plurality of wheels (365) at least partially support the stiffening members (361, 362).

Abstract: A seat mounting that allows omnidirectional movement of the seat in a single plane by means of two pairs of sliding rods, one pair perpendicular to the other, and a rotatable disc. Rods are locked and released by a series of skewed locker-like pieces that may be moved by a cam mechanism. The rotational disc is locked and released by a pin that extends through the disc into an underlying hole. Locking and release mechanisms are controlled by a single cable.
Abstract: Individual elongated radiant heat panel modules are secured together along their side edges to form a panel; and a plurality of transverse spaced-apart stiffeners are connected at a plurality of connection sites across the panel back to stiffen the panel and hold it fast. Each stiffener is fixedly connected to the panel at only one fixed connection site whereby to block relative movement between the stiffener and panel at said site; and each stiffener is additionally connected to the panel at a plurality of connection sites by spring clamps which hold the panel and modules thereof flat against the stiffener while permitting limited relative movement thereat between said stiffener and said panel. The connection sites on the stiffener are spaced therealong while the connections to the panels are at or adjacent the side edges of the individual modules. Adjacent individual modules are fixed to each other.
