Abstract: A connector or adhesive assembly for joining adjacent ends of insulation tubing, comprising a layer of pressure-sensitive transfer adhesive material, said layer of pressure-sensitive transfer adhesive material capable of bonding to insulation tubing, whereby when said layer of pressure-sensitive transfer adhesive material is positioned between a first section of insulation tubing and a second section of insulation tubing, said layer of pressure-sensitive transfer adhesive material bonds to both the first section of insulation tubing and the second section of insulation tubing; and a disposable release liner member adapted to hold said layer of pressure-sensitive transfer adhesive material prior to positioning said layer of pressure-sensitive transfer adhesive material between the first section of insulation tubing and the second section of insulation tubing. Generally, the seam created when the first section of insulation tubing and the second section of insulation tubing are joined is covered with tape.
Abstract: An insulating member or tube having an expanded foam core layer surrounded by a layer or jacket of flexible solid rubber, wherein the core layer and the flexible rubber are formed of similar material with similar coefficients of thermal expansion. An insulating member or tube according to the present general inventive concept, by having a core layer and a cover layer with similar coefficients of thermal expansion, provides enhanced insulating capability over competing insulation systems and shows greater resistance to damage to the core layer from externally introduced moisture or other environmental factors.
Abstract: A shipping and installation container for soft tubing. The container includes a substantially cylindrical section that readily receives soft or foam tubing commonly used on heating or cooling conduits in an industrial plant. End caps are provided at opposite ends of the cylindrical section to facilitate stacking and storing the container laden with soft tubing during shipment. The end caps can be readily removed and the cylindrical section then serves as a guide to facilitate installation of the tubing onto industrial conduit.

Abstract: A multi-hole insulation tube with multiple interior insulation channels to accommodate multiple conduits of unequal temperatures is disclosed. Each channel within the tube is insulated from the other channels so as to substantially prevent the negative influence of one conduit on another through conduction.
