Abstract: An aerodynamically enhanced appendage covering includes a first portion that is not subject to significant airflow and a second portion that is positioned to engage significantly more airflow when placed on a moving body. At least a part of the second portion includes an aerodynamically enhanced area. The aerodynamically enhanced area including a first frontal zone, a second turbulence inducing zone, and a third rear zone. The frontal zone is configured to have a relatively smooth surface for inducing a relatively lesser amount of turbulence on air flowing past than the second zone. The second zone has a relatively less smooth surface and includes a plurality of turbulence-inducing features configured for creating a boundary layer for inducing turbulence in air flowing past the second zone.

  • Publication number: 20160281702
Abstract: An air pump includes a pump body having a base. A hose is coupled to the pump body for conducting air from the pump body. The hose includes a distal end having a coupling attached to the end. The coupling is provided for coupling the hose to an object to be inflated. A magnetic dock member is coupled to the pump body for magnetically receiving the coupling, for maintaining the coupling in a fixed position relative to the pump body during times of non-use of the pump.

  • Publication number: 20150165845
Abstract: A valve stem extender can be coupled to a valve stem having a fluid receiving passageway for use with a vehicle wheel and tire. The valve stem extender includes a body having a proximal end portion, a distal end portion, an interior passageway extending between the distal and proximal end portions, and an exterior. The proximal end portion includes a coupler for coupling the valve stem extender to a valve stem to place the interior passageway of the valve stem in fluid communication with the fluid receiving passageway of the valve stem extender. The distal end portion is configured for receiving an air introducing device. The body includes a compressible portion. The compressible portion is radially compressible between a relatively larger diameter relaxed position, and a relatively smaller diameter compressed position for snugly coupling the valve stem extender to a vehicle wheel.
