Abstract: This present invention relates to an anti-skid device adapted to being mounted on tyres of the vehicle wheels to provide traction and wheel to ground contact enhancement in snowy and icy conditions. The device includes a central housing 2 from which protrudes radially three arms 3 which are extended at the outer end by anti-slip components 10 transversally embracing the tread of the tyre. The anti-skid device have a locking mechanism that consists of a locking element 24 with teeth engaging with teeth on the inner circumference of the housing 2. A handle 16 integrated into the hub 4 interfaces with the locking element 24 to securely maintain the locked status when the device is mounted onto the wheel.

Abstract: A vehicle fee charging system and method is disclosed for a vehicle driving from a first point A to a second point B. It (10) comprises a central management system (12) adapted to calculate the fee based on a dataset. It comprises a first unit (50) adapted to record a first information data set (51) based on the vehicle type in question. The first information data set (51) comprises information such as fuel type, category of the vehicle and the authorization of the vehicle. The system (10) further comprises at least one base station/monitoring system (22) collecting second information dataset (52) of the selected route from A to B. The dataset comprises at least the first (51) and the second (52) data information set and said datasets are recorded by the central management system (12) configured to calculate a fee for said vehicle based on said information.
Abstract: A system (200) for controlling road traffic comprises measurement station (210) for determining air pollution in an urban area comprising pollution zones (221-223) with predetermined geographical boundaries. A central system is configured to charge a pollution fee to a vehicle (10) moving in the pollution zone when the air pollution exceeds a threshold value. Different vehicles are charged different fees, e.g. based on their function and emission. A variable message sign (240) warns of the increased fees, so most private cars choose alternative routes (232, 233) around the pollution zone (222, 223), but allow motorists willing to pay a substantial pollution fee to use route (231). Heavy diesel vehicles may be exempt from pollution fees along a direct route (231) through the pollution zone to keep them away from small roads and residential areas. A method using mobile devices for registering passengers for a passenger discount is also described.
