Abstract: Described herein are impregnated products comprising: a cellulosic substrate having internal voids; and a reaction product of a composition comprising: water; a hygroscopic polymer; and a solid component; wherein the cellulosic substrate is impregnated with said composition. Methods of making and using the products are also described.

Abstract: The present invention provides a display system for flat articles generally including a rack, one or more carriers, and a plurality of flat articles. The rack comprises a plurality of vertical rack supports and a plurality of horizontal rack supports forming bays between the vertical rack supports. The one or more carriers have an upper mounting bracket, a lower mounting bracket, a pair of upright members, and at least one pair of support members, and are attached to upper and lower horizontal rack supports within each bay. The pair of upright members are coupled to each of the upper and lower mounting brackets in a horizontally spaced-apart manner, and the pair of support members extends between the pair of upright members in a vertically spaced-apart manner. The plurality of flat articles may be slidably engaged with the pair of support members so that a front surface is exposed for viewing.

Abstract: An apparatus including a support for supporting a material having at least one edge, an edge cutter head, and an edge cutter head support for supporting the edge cutter head. In response to the edge cutter head and the at least one edge of the material being brought into cutting contact and moved relative to each other, a resulting portion of the at least one edge of the material is distressed.

Abstract: Described herein are flooring systems comprising: a first floor panel and a second floor panel, each of the first and second floor panels comprising: a top surface, a bottom surface, and a plurality of peripheral edges extending between the top and bottom surfaces; and a coupling surface formed on one peripheral edge; the coupling surfaces of the first and second floor panels being disposed proximate to each other forming a joint; and a thermally activated solid adhesive interspersed between the coupling surfaces of the first and second floor panel. Methods of installing these systems are also described.

Abstract: Described herein are methods for preparing multilayer composites comprising a fiberglass substrate encapsulated, at least in part, by a calendered film; along with products produced from same. The methods improve the efficiency of the manufacturing process and provide a product with improved performance characteristics.

Abstract: Disclosed is a product, a melt-processed layer, a flexible layer and a process of fabricating the product. The product includes a first layer and a second layer heat-adhered to the first layer. The first layer is a melt-processed layer, the second layer has greater flexibility than the first layer, and the product has dimensional stability. The process includes heat-adhering the first layer to the second layer.
