An assembly toy is made up of the plurality of figure forming parts 28, 32, 34, . . . and the joint members 10, 18, 20, . . . , and the figure forming parts are each formed into the bag-like shape of the net-like fabric so that a stuffing material is stuffed in the interior thereof so as to provide flexibility, while the joint members are each formed into a rod-like shape which tapers at least at one end portion thereof and has a spiral thread-like portion formed on a side thereof in such a manner as to extend spirally along an axial direction thereof, whereby the figure forming parts are joined together by the joint members.
