  • Patent number: 12136280
Abstract: A system and method for synchronizing two-dimensional (ā€œ2Dā€) camera data for object recognition. An object recognition kiosk includes a plurality of 2D cameras and a stage for placement of one or more items. The plurality of 2D cameras, one of which acts as a reference camera, capture images of items on the stage from multiple angles. The system synchronizes image data from each camera in order to accurately identify items present on the stage. In situations where items in camera images fail to be linked to items identified in the reference camera perspective, the system maintains a fallback hierarchy of camera pairs to utilize to link items found in different camera images. The use of different camera pairs to link item detections continues down the fallback hierarchy until either all the item detections are linked or the last camera pair in the fallback hierarchy is reached.

  • Patent number: 10037585
Abstract: Computerized systems and methods are provided for allocating and managing table and seating inventory at commercial establishments, such as restaurants. In one implementation, a computer-implemented method receives a first request to allocate table inventory at a commercial establishment. In some aspects, the first request may include a first party size and a first requested time. Based on a received request, the method may determine a mode of allocation associated with the commercial establishment. The method may identifying one or more first units of table inventory capable of accommodating the first party size at the first requested time. In certain aspects, the identification may be based on at least the determined allocation mode.

  • Publication number: 20120016699
Abstract: Computer-implemented systems and methods provide for attribute-based inventory management. In the attribute-based inventory management, any one or more discrete attributes of an inventory item can be used to manage the inventory item. Management of the inventory item includes, for example, identifying the availability of the inventory item and identifying a rate to be charged for the inventory item. This attributes-based model for inventory management is highly flexible and scalable.

  • Publication number: 20120016698
Abstract: Computer-implemented systems and methods provide use an allocation process for allocating inventory items based on categories and attributes associated with the inventory items. The systems and methods allocate the inventory in accordance with a predefined hierarchy of the categories and attributes so as to effectively balance current reservations while accounting for overbook and/or retention criteria. The systems and methods facilitate the tracking of upgraded inventory reservations relative to non-upgraded inventory reservations. The inventory allocation can occur in real time and/or in accordance with a user-defined schedule. The inventory allocation can be substantially automated.
