  • Patent number: 10989855
Abstract: Described herein is an illumination device for projecting light in a predetermined illumination pattern on a surface. The illumination device includes a light module having a light source and a light pipe configured to transmit light in any suitable manner. The illumination device also includes a housing having a cavity, an entrance opening for receiving the light emitted from the light source, and an aperture at a second housing end. Within the housing between the entrance opening and the aperture is a screen at least partially disposed in the cavity, the screen having at least one opening defining a base pattern configuration corresponding to the predetermined illumination pattern. The light pipe is configured to selectively transmit light from the light source to the cavity and may be linear or non-linear such that the light source and the surface to be illuminated do not need to face one another.

  • Patent number: 10369960
Abstract: An illuminated safety restraint system including a buckle assembly adapted to selectively releasably engage a corresponding clip. The buckle assembly includes a housing having an inner chamber defined therein, an outer surface, and at least one aperture extending between the outer surface and the inner chamber. A receiver is disposed in the inner chamber for releasably engaging the clip. A button is attached to the housing in the inner chamber, and is in communication with the receiver for selectively releasing the clip from the receiver. A cover is attached to the outer surface of the housing and has a lower surface spaced from the outer surface of the housing to define a cover chamber adjacent the aperture of the housing. A light module is disposed in the cover chamber adjacent the aperture for selectively emitting light so as to illuminate at least a portion of the button.

  • Patent number: 10302922
Abstract: An illumination device projects light in a predetermined illumination pattern on a surface. The illumination device includes a housing having a cavity and an aperture that opens into the cavity. The illumination device further includes a light module operatively attached to the housing for selectively emitting the light into the cavity. Furthermore, the illumination device includes a digital light panel at least partially disposed in the cavity between the light module and the aperture. The digital light panel has at least one opening defining a base pattern configuration corresponding to the predetermined illumination pattern for aligning the light emitted from the light module through the opening into the base pattern configuration and subsequently projecting the light through the aperture onto the surface in the predetermined illumination pattern.
