The proud standing portions (15) of the separator structure (4) are typically distributed across the adhesive layer (3) to ensure that an overlaying layer is held away from contact with adhesive layer (3) over substantially the entire adhesive layer (3). A cover (22a) may be positioned over the separator structure (24).
