    Abstract: An example threaded cable connector for a cable with a conductor and a surrounding shielding braid, comprising a base element, a first tightening nut and a first clamping element is presented herein. The base element includes a base for fastening the base element to a housing and a passage opening for the passage of the cable about which an encircling first thread is oriented. On a side facing away from the housing, the base element has a contact surface encircling the passage opening. The first tightening nut comprises a second thread for operatively connecting the first tightening nut to the first thread of the base element. The first clamping element has a first clamping surface and, in the mounted state, is arranged between the contact surface and the first tightening nut. The first clamping element, in the mounted state, presses the shielding braid against the contact surface.

    Abstract: A crimping tool (1) is used to axially fasten a cable braid (3) of a cable (2) between a crimp sleeve (4) arranged on the cable (2) and a support sleeve (5) by means of crimping. The crimping tool (1) includes a first pressing jaw (6) having a first through-opening (8), which extends in an axial direction (x), and a second pressing jaw (7) having a second through-opening (9), which is coaxial with the first through-opening (8). The first and the second pressing jaw (6, 7) are displaceable relative to each other in the axial direction. For the crimping, the first pressing jaw (6) has a support surface (10) for supporting the crimp sleeve (4) in the axial direction, and the second pressing jaw (7) has a funnel-shaped forming surface (11) arranged around the second through-opening (9), for crimping the crimp sleeve (4) with respect to the support sleeve (5).

The lower part can be connected to a housing in an electrically conducting manner and can be axially tensioned with the union nut. The pressing part and the sealing insert form one unit, wherein the sealing insert is arranged in the union nut and reduces the cross section of its hole with increasing axial tension between the lower part and the union nut. The screwed cable gland is characterized by inexpensive manufacture and simple assembly.

    Abstract: The new-type conduit fitting has at least a first, a second and a third part, through each part passes a hole which allows the parts to be pushed axially over the cable. The first part can be connected to a housing in an electrically conductive manner and can be axially tensioned with the third part. The second part is electrically conductive, and it reduces the cross section of its hole with increasing axial tensioning between the first and third parts. The hole of the first part expands conically against the second part, wherein the second part is a annular sleeve with a sheathing surface conically tapering against the first part and with a cylindrical inner surface, and the development of the annular sleeve has a shape meandering in a zigzag pattern. A fourth part formed as a rubber sleeve is positioned around the cable, and a fifth part formed as a union nut compresses the rubber sleeve between the union nut and the third part.

    Abstract: A fitting for connecting tubes which have circumferentially extending axially spaced ribs with recesses defined between the ribs comprises a socket member which advantageously has a cavity at one end of smaller diameter than a cavity at its opposite end which is adapted to receive the tube. The ledge is formed between the two cavities and a resilient member such as a sealing sleeve is disposed against the ledge at the inner end of the larger diameter cavity. The tube to be connected is positioned in the larger diameter cavity against the sealing sleeve such that its ribbed circumference underlies the slot in the larger diameter cavity which is closable by a locking fitting. The locking fitting includes an inner end which is adapted to be secured to the socket and which in one embodiment includes a bending strip which is affixed to the socket and supports the remaining portion of the locking lid at an acute angle with respect to the exterior surface of the socket.
