Abstract: The present invention provides a hexahydropyridazine derivative of the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents an alkynyloxy group, a cycloalkoxy group or an alkoxycarbonylalkylthio group, R.sup.2 represents an alkyl group, a phenyl group or a benzyl group, and X represents a halogen atom. This compound exhibits an excellent herbicidal effect on various weeds in treatment of field soil, foliage treatment and flooding treatment of paddy field, and has an excellent selectivity toward the weeds but not the crop.
Abstract: An insecticidal, acaricidal or nematocidal composition which comprises an organophosphorus compound represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each represents C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkyl; A represents H, C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkyl, C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkylthio or N(R.sup.4)R.sup.5 ; Z represents C(CN)R.sup.4 or N-R.sup.7 and an inert carrier show excellent effect for controlling harmful insects, mites and nematodes, do not give off a bad or irritating odor and exhibit very low toxicity to warm-blooded animals. Abstract: Disclosed is a novel compound of the formula [I]: ##STR1## (wherein R.sup.1 is H or CH.sub.3, R.sup.2 is H or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl), furylmethyl group, tetrahydrofuryl group 2-tetrahydropyranylmethyl group or tetrahydrofurfuryl group which may be substituted with methyl group. Abstract: Disclosed herein are novel chloroacetanilide derivatives which act as remarkably effective herbicides when sprayed in a paddy field, the chloroacetanilide derivatives being 2',6'-diethyl-N-[(cis-alkenyloxy)methyl]-2-chloroacetanilides [A] represented by the general formula ##STR1## wherein R is a cis-form alkenyl group having 4 or 5 carbon atoms.
