  • Patent number: 11282214
Abstract: A method which includes obtaining a first sequence of images of a user attempting to reproduce a sequence of poses of a reference user and determining correct performance of the user. For each body part of a plurality of body parts of the user, a spatial orientation of the body part in a referential independent of an orientation of any other body part of the user is compared to the spatial orientation of the reference user. If the comparison does not meet a matching criterion for at least one body part of the user, data representative of a mismatch between the orientation of the body part of the user and the spatial orientation of the reference user is output, thereby enabling the user to correct his pose using a feedback pointing to the body part to be corrected.

  • Patent number: 10154321
Abstract: A computer system, method, and program product for registering sensors, includes an interface to receive a query (Q) related to a specific event for a target system state associated with a specific activity pattern. A decomposer decomposes the query (Q) into semantic expressions (QSe1,QSe2) describing the target system state, and identifies a database entry associated with a semantic expression from the decomposition. A retriever retrieves behavioral data corresponding to the identified database entry, including dependencies between elements that describe the specific activity pattern. The specific activity pattern is associated with multiple activity data structures. A registration component registers a sensor (S1,S3,S4), assigned to the activity data structures.

  • Patent number: 9942450
Abstract: A method for automatically matching video streams from two cameras of a camera network includes obtaining a video stream of frames that are acquired by each of the cameras. Each video stream includes images of moving objects. A time signature for each of the video streams is calculated. Each time signature is indicative of a time at which an image of one the objects is located at a predetermined part of the frame. A temporal offset of one of the signatures relative to the other signature is calculated such that, when applied to one of the signatures, a correspondence between the signatures is maximized. The temporal offset is applicable to video streams that are acquired by the two cameras to determine if a moving object that is imaged by one of the cameras is identical to a moving object that is imaged by the other camera.

  • Patent number: 9928594
Abstract: A method for automatic spatial calibration of a network of cameras along a road includes, processing a frame that is obtained from each camera of the network to automatically identify an image of a pattern of road markings that have a known spatial relationship to one another. The identified images are used to calculate a position of each camera relative to the pattern of road markings that is imaged by that camera. Geographical information is applied to calculate an absolute position of a field of view of each camera. A global optimization is applied to adjust the absolute position of the field of view of each camera of the camera network relative to an absolute position of the fields of view of other cameras of the camera network.

  • Patent number: 9679200
Abstract: In queues, persons—or objects (120) in general—move inside an area (110) to a target (112), such as to a counter. The queue has movement characteristics in terms of speed, waiting times and queue form. A computer-implemented approach obtains the characteristics by receiving a sequence (140) of image frames (141, 142, 143, 49) that represent the surveillance area (110); calculating flow vectors that indicate an optical displacement for the sequence (140) of image frames (141/142, 142/143); extending one of the flow vectors as lead vector in extension directions; determining intermediate vectors by using flow vectors along the extension directions; and selecting one the intermediate vectors as the new lead vector. The steps are repeated to concatenate the lead vectors to the movement characteristics (190).

  • Patent number: 9667549
Abstract: A computer (100) recognizes an event pattern (ABC) for objects (14, 24, 34, 44) that belong to an event domain (150). The computer activates a pattern query (110) that corresponds to the event pattern (ABC) and that has a least one state (S4) with an distinctive transition probability to a final state. The probability is derived from object observations in the event domain (150). The computer continuously receives event representations (*A14, *A24, *A44, *D44, . . . ) that are related to the objects (14, 24, 34, 44) and allocates the event representations to a first processing resource (101) to initiate instances (1.14, 1.24, 1.34, 1.44) of the query (110). It monitors the instances and, upon receiving event representations that cause the instances to reach the state (S4) with the distinct transition probability, it shifts the instances to a second processing resource (102).

  • Patent number: 9633434
Abstract: A computer implemented method, computer program product, and computer system for determining camera calibration data. The computer system receives geo-positional data of a moving object, wherein the geo-positional data is associated with an indicator (112). The computer system receives further a sequence of frames (140) from the at least one camera (150), wherein at least one frame has a picture of the moving object (118) with a structure and with an encoded version of the indicator which are optically recognizable. The indicator associated with the at least one frame is extracted by decoding (170) the optically encoded version of the indicator of the at least one frame. The geo-positional data of the moving object which is in the picture of the at least one frame is obtained by matching (172) the indicator associated with the geo-positional data of the moving object and the decoded indicator associated with the at least one frame.

  • Publication number: 20170110013
Abstract: The invention provides methods and systems for identifying objects transitioning boundaries defined around geographic areas using sensors. Objects that are vehicles are detected by license plate reader sensors. Boundaries defining geographic zones and sub-zones are pre-defined graphically by reference to a map or computed based on locations of sensors located within the geographic region. When sensor coverage is incomplete, soft zones are computed and defined. Soft zones are computed using probabilistic models, and are developed to minimize the number of escape paths from any sub-zone around sensor locations. Using these probabilistic models, additional sensors can be optimally placed for further enhancement of the detection system.

  • Patent number: 9449258
Abstract: A target object captured by a first camera is identified in images captured by a second camera. A reference platoon comprising the target object and other objects is generated using first camera images. A reference group characterizing the objects in the reference platoon is generated by running a first set of trained classifiers over the reference platoon, the first set of trained classifiers trained to characterize objects captured by the first camera. Candidate platoons are generated using second camera images. Candidate groups characterizing objects in the candidate platoons are obtained by running an independently trained second set of classifiers over the candidate platoons, the second set characterizing objects captured by the second camera. Candidate groups are compared to the reference group, and a best matching candidate platoon is selected. The target object is identified in the selected candidate platoon based on the object's position in the reference platoon.
