Patent number: 8888095Abstract: A processing apparatus of cards, etc., includes a stacker, which can lead a card overflowed from a main stacker automatically to an extension stacker. The apparatus includes a stacker provided by a main stacker, an extension stacker at the downstream side of the main stacker, and a switching mechanism for switching discharge of the card from the main stacker to the extension stacker. The switching mechanism includes a stopper to which a tip of the card overflowed from the main stacker is contacted and stopped, and a switching slope switching the discharged card from a main stacker discharging posture to an extension stacker discharging posture. When the card overflows from the main stacker, the card is contacted with the stopper and the switching slope is automatically switched to the extension stacker discharging posture, and the card next to the overflowed is discharged to the extension stacker with a correct order.Type: GrantFiled: September 25, 2013Date of Patent: November 18, 2014Assignee: Ai & Di Co., Ltd.Inventor: Atsumi Ihara

Patent number: 8087442Abstract: A sheet attaching apparatus includes a non-adhesive guide sheet for leading the peeled sheet to the attaching position while keeping away from the substrate; a stopper to which forward edges of the substrate and the sheet contact, movable between a position across the feed path and a position off the feed path; a movable press roller for pressing the forward portion of the sheet onto the forward portion of the substrate to attach the sheet onto the substrate at the attaching position; and a feed roller arranged facing the press roller and for discharging the adhered sheet and substrate from the attaching position. The guide sheet has slits extending in the feed direction at the forward portion. The press roller presses the forward portion of the sheet to the forward portion of the substrate through the slits so as to attach the sheet S onto the substrate.Type: GrantFiled: August 27, 2007Date of Patent: January 3, 2012Assignee: AI & DI Co., Ltd.Inventor: Atsumi Ihara

Publication number: 20090266486Abstract: The sheet peeling apparatus 10 is provided with a pair of heat rollers 20 which transfers a card 1 along a feed path P and lowers of an adhesive strength of an adhesive; a pair of transfer rollers 30 which supplies a peeling adhesive tape 40 to which the sheet adheres and transfers the card along the feed path P and the like. The adhesive tape 40 contacts the sheet 5 via one roller 30A of the transfer rollers and then coiled onto a take-up roller 43. Since the adhesive strength of the adhesive taper is lowered, the sheet can be peeled from the card substrate when an easily obtainable and commercially available adhesive tape is used. So, an apparatus and method for peeling the sheet from the card substrate using a commercially available adhesive tape can be provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 25, 2006Publication date: October 29, 2009Applicant: AI & DI Co., Ltd.Inventor: Atsumi Ihara
