Abstract: An apparatus and method for holding two cameras on a single mount for stereo graphic imaging with controls for: (a) the synchronous convergence of the optical line of focus of both cameras at a single point at a desired distance; (b) the adjustment of the position of the image focal plane in one camera with respect to the image focal plane in the other camera such that the two cameras are correctly focused on the same image; (c) the adjustment of the spacing between the two cameras such as to mimic the average distance between human eyes; and (d) adjustment of the two cameras such that the two cameras, while being converged, rotate around the same image (nodal) point.

Abstract: A material disposal system ideally suited for use in container filling operations and includes a cover member and a hopper having a lower door operable relative to the hopper by pneumatic or other actuating means for opening and closing the passage disposed above a drum or other container to be filled. The cover member and hopper are fixedly attached to each other. The cover member forms a seal around the inside of the container opening such that air and other gases escaping from the container by the filling or other material handling operation are directed through filter means which separate airborne particulates therefrom. The material disposal system is adaptable for covering and sealing a wide variety of containers. The filter means is adaptable for filtering a wide variety of materials and particulate sizes for removal of noxious gases, vapors and other airborne effluents.

Abstract: A valve assembly for use in conjunction with spring applied, air release parking brakes of the character found in heavy-duty truck-trailers which, in a single valve housing provides system pressure protection, prevents compounding application of the brakes and performs the parking brake release function in an expedicious and highly reliable manner.

Abstract: A work station for use when working with radioactive and other toxic or hazardous materials having an enclosed centralized work area which is normally open to the surrounding space in order to permit worker access, and in which a positive airflow is created into and within the work station to prevent the release of contaminated and toxic gases and particles through the access opening.

Abstract: Compact centrifugal fan and filter assemblies for use in providing laminar flow clean air to a work space environment such as those within clean rooms and clean air work stations or cabinets wherein the fan and filter element are mounted in a close physical relationship with respect to one another and within a common plenum chamber and wherein the fan creates an airflow which is initially generally parallel with respect to the filter element and which is thereafter channeled by baffle members so as to provide uniform air pressure and airflow across the filter element while reducing vibration and increasing the air flow rate from the fan and filter assemblies to such clean air environments.

Abstract: An apparatus for providing a prefabricated knockdown clean room which may be readily assembled without tools in a minimum of time. The apparatus includes a plurality of building segments which cooperate with each other in assembled relationship and certain of such segments include means for moving air under pressure through a filter media which removes substantially all micro-organisms from the air within the apparatus to supply Class 100 air to a restricted area.

Abstract: A brake system for a vehicle having two sets of brakes, a front set and a rear set of brakes and including a source of fluid pressure, a driver controlled valve, in which the sets of brakes respond to fluid pressure from said source via said driver controlled valve, including a secondary valve having at an input port a connection to the driver controlled valve and its output port coupled to the rear brakes, and in which the secondary valve means produces an increase in pressure at the output port above the pressure of the input port, in which the secondary valve including time delay means for reducing excess pressure at the outlet port to reduce the pressure at the outlet port to substantially the pressure at the inlet port after the application of pressure to the inlet port by operation of the driver controlled valve.

Abstract: In an air pressurized hydraulic system, air is replenished in a storage tank for the liquid by an air control responsive to pressure differences in the system to supply air to the storage vessel if needed. During replenishment of liquid in the storage vessel, air may be added repetitively by periodically switching a valve to reverse the pressure across an air control chamber device for admission of air from atmosphere and discharge into the pressure vessel.
