    Abstract: A torque-adjustable pneumatic tool comprises a body, a trigger assembly, and a torque-adjusting module. The body has an outlet tunnel. The trigger assembly is mounted to the body. The torque-adjusting module is mounted to the body, communicates with the outlet tunnel, and has a silencer, an adjusting bolt, and a piston lid. The silencer has a recess and an exhaust portion communicating with the recess. The exhaust portion has a threaded hole and at least one exhaust hole that are separately disposed through the exhaust portion. The adjusting bolt is movably mounted to the threaded hole of the silencer from a side away from the body, and engages with the silencer through threads. The piston lid is fixed to the adjusting bolt and is able to enter the recess.

The piston pin is mounted moveably in the axial hole and has an end extending out of the input end of the valve sleeve and combined with a sealing cap. The guiding assembly is combined rotatably with the valve core and has a signal member and a guiding tube. The signal member is held in the annular groove in the valve core and has a passage communicating with the sleeve chamber. The guiding tube is connected with signal member and communicates with the passage in the signal member.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a shaft of a pneumatic tool has steps of casting, friction welding and processing. In the step of casting, a hollow section of a first segment and a second segment are respectively prepared. In the step of friction welding, the second segment is connected with a second end surface of the hollow section of the first segment by a friction welding process to form a work-in-process shaft. In the step of processing, an outer surface of the work-in-process shaft is processed to form a shaft. The hollow section is casted to form through holes therein. Accordingly, the weight of the shaft is reduced, the shaft becomes light and the material cost of the shaft is diminished.
