Abstract: A lining panel having a panel element, a rectangular through hole and a flap is provided. The lining panel has a flap which is rotatable about a hinge integrated into the panel element in order to open and/or close the rectangular through hole. A fuselage element for an aircraft includes such a lining panel.
Abstract: What is described is a lightweight structural panel which comprises a planarly extended outer skin of given thickness and stiffening elements which are connected to this outer skin and are arranged at a given distance from one another. According to the invention, the outer skin is formed by component layers which are each extended in the planar direction of the lightweight structural panel and complement one another in the direction of thickness to form the thickness of the outer skin and are interconnected, the stiffening elements being formed in one piece with one of the component layers.
Abstract: An airfoil portion includes an outer skin member and an inner stiffening member. Either the outer skin member or the inner stiffening member or both are arranged to delimit a chamber. The chamber is configured to contain an inner pressure, wherein the inner pressure differs from a pressure external to the chamber. In an embodiment, an aircraft includes such an airfoil portion. A method for providing such an airfoil portion with a chamber is also described.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a bearing includes the following steps: a) providing of an outer part with a concave running surface which forms a receiving area for receiving an inner part, b), providing an inner part that is arranged inside the outer part, which inner part is shaped annularly, c) arranging the inner part within the outer part in a machining position in which at least a part of an outer surface of the inner part is exposed for machining, and d), generating of a convex running surface of the inner part, which running surface engages with the receiving area of the outer part whereby the inner part is held captively in the outer part. Abstract: A seat rail adapter for flexibly mounting an object onto a seat rail, a seat arrangement and a cabin arrangement with same are described. The seat rail has a U-shaped profile with a lower flange, two web portions, two upper flanges, a gap between the upper flanges, and a cavity inside the seat rail. The seat rail adapter includes two mounting parts capable of being inserted through the gap into the cavity inside the seat rail, such that, when inserted, a hook portion of each of the mounting parts is engaged with the cavity, and a shaft portion of each of the two mounting parts extends through the gap to outside the seat rail. Further, the shaft portions include a rounding so as to allow insertion of one mounting part into the cavity by a swivel movement, when the other mounting part is already inserted therein.
Abstract: A fiber composite component made of a fiber composite material comprises at least one first surface section, at least one second surface section and at least one transition region. The first surface section and the second surface section are arranged at an angle to each other and incorporate the transition region. The transition region comprises at least one first curvature section and at least one second curvature section whose mean curvatures differ from each other, which curvature sections connect to each other in a tangentially continuous manner. The first surface section connects to the transition region, and the transition region connects to the second surface section in each case in a tangentially continuous manner. In one example, the radius of curvature of the first curvature section is smaller than that of the second curvature section.
Abstract: A morphing trailing edge device for an airfoil includes a skin member, an actuator, and a torsion element. The skin member is configured to extend on a surface of a trailing edge region of an airfoil and includes a load introduction point within a reinforced area. The skin member further includes a stiffening member arranged essentially perpendicular to the load introduction point, wherein the load introduction point, the reinforced area and the stiffening member are integrated into the skin member. The actuator is configured to drive the torsion element with an actuation load. The torsion element is configured to translate the actuation load to the load introduction point, so that the actuation load morphs the trailing edge region up- or downwardly relative to a horizontal plane. A morphing airfoil for an aircraft, an aircraft with a morphing airfoil and a method for manufacturing a morphing airfoil are also described.
Abstract: This relates to an aircraft providing visual signalling of an aircraft. An aircraft for providing visual signalling is provided with at least one multifunctional light unit comprising at least one light source for outboard light emission, which unit is provided on sideway facing areas of the aircraft. The sideway facing areas comprise lateral facing sideway surface areas and/or forward and backwards facing surface areas of the aircraft. The at least one multifunctional light unit is configured to provide i) directional signalling of the aircraft, or ii) status signalling of the aircraft, wherein the status signalling relates to at least one of the group of status of the aircraft, status of the current flight mission, and status of the traffic situation; and/or iii) identification signalling of the aircraft.
Abstract: A passenger cabin for a means of transport is provided, which comprises an upper passenger deck and a lower passenger deck. The floor of the upper passenger deck comprises a lower and an upper region arranged therebeside, which are interconnected via a step or a ramp. There is an aisle in the lower region. The floor of the lower passenger deck likewise comprises a lower and an upper region arranged therebeside, between which there is a lowered aisle which is arranged so as to be laterally offset from the aisle of the upper passenger deck. The available surfaces of the upper and the lower passenger deck are mirror-symmetrically arranged. In this way, the space available can be used very effectively in order to accommodate more passengers.

Abstract: A double-walled pipe with integrated heating capability for an aircraft or spacecraft includes a pipe body rigidly formed from plastic in one piece with an inner wall, with an outer wall and with a plurality of wall supports, the wall supports connecting the inner wall to the outer wall, the inner wall and the outer wall defining an intermediate space. The double-walled pipe further includes an electrically conductive coating surrounding the inner wall within the intermediate space and configured to heat up under application of an electric current such that heat is transferred to the inner wall.

Abstract: A load-bearing fairing element for a flap adjustment mechanism of an aircraft comprises a shell-shaped fairing housing with an at least partly U-shaped profile with an open side, a closed side, and a direction of main extension, at least one first cover panel that along the direction of main extension covers part of the open side, and a load-bearing bridge element. The bridge element is arranged in the fairing housing and with a base area conforms so as to be flush against an internal surface of the fairing housing and extends towards the open side. The bridge element comprises an essentially planar cover area that covers the base area on the open side in order to produce a closed profile contour that is circumferential on the direction of main extension. The bridge element comprises means for holding a shaft feed-in of a central flap drive and means for holding an adjustment mechanism that is couplable to the shaft feed-in.
