    Abstract: A cross joint (10) is shown that has been formed from a single, flat folded and partially cut sheet. Base panels (12) to (26) are caused to lie horizontally at the base of the joint with the innermost portion of the panel (14) overlapping the innermost portion of the panel (26) and so on around the joint. Panels (34) to (48) extend vertically with panels that include a common fold lying alongside each other and in contact with each other. Panels (56) to (70) lie horizontally at the top with the panel (58) overlapping completely the panel (70) and so on around the structure.
