Patent number: 7448187Abstract: A plant for manufacturing and packaging tubes feeds the tubes via a conveyor belt to a packaging station, where they are packaged to form larger units. The foil strip is a dual or multiple-strip, cut by at least one partitioning blade into individual webs respectively welded in parallel planes to form endless tubes and cut by transverse cutters. The tubular bodies are assembled into a larger transfer group and jointly transferred to a turn table including a corresponding number of mandrels. The turn table conveys them jointly and stepwise to stations for fitting the shoulder portion with a threaded neck and the closure cap. The finished tubes are deposited on a discharge belt and fed to control regions for checking. Flawless tubes are received by the discharge belt and fed continuously to a tray.Type: GrantFiled: July 31, 2003Date of Patent: November 11, 2008Assignee: Aisa Automation Industrielle SAInventor: Gerhard Keller

Patent number: 6852267Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing tubular containers with an open filling opening and with an end that is provided with a seal. The inventive method comprises the following steps: separately producing a preform with a neck with definitive dimensions and a tubular body with smaller dimensions than the definitive form, the tubular body containing the open filling opening; fixing the preform that is produced to a drawing head by its neck and subjecting it to at least one partial heating process; introducing the heated preform that is attached to the drawing head into the inside of a multi-part closed blow mold in such a way that the open filling opening is air-tightly held at the lower end of the blow mold; fitting a blow nozzle to the filling opening of the preform.Type: GrantFiled: June 2, 2000Date of Patent: February 8, 2005Assignee: Aisa Automation Industrielle SAInventor: Gerhard Keller

Patent number: 6568305Abstract: A method and a device for the continuous production of tubular bodies with an internal longitudinal separating wall for the production of tubes having two chambers which are separated from each other. An endless extruded tube having an internal longitudinal separating wall is produced and individual tubular bodies of a defined length are cut off by means of a cutting device and subjected to further processing. The tubular body is made from a film having a central, semicircular part and two angled lateral wings. The semicircular part is covered by a second film serving as separating wall. A transverse cutter having two rotating blades is used as cutting device.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 2001Date of Patent: May 27, 2003Assignee: AISA Automation Industrielle SAInventor: Gerhard Keller

Patent number: 5900086Abstract: A process produces a tubular body with at least one dividing wall extending across its length and forming longitudinal chambers disposed next to each other. A foil strip is used whereby a dividing-wall strip or a section of dividing-wall strip is cut to length and is fastened at its lateral outer edges on the foil strip or section of the foil strip, with parallel alignment with the foil strip or section of foil strip. The lateral edges of the foil strip or section of foil strip are then joined with each other thereby either directly forming a tubular body or forming an endless tube, from which tubular bodies are then cut to length. The tube is then solidly joined with a tube head having a dividing bridge conforming to the arrangement of the dividing wall in the tubular body. The tube head has a dispensing aperture closable by a closure.Type: GrantFiled: January 22, 1997Date of Patent: May 4, 1999Assignee: AISA Automation Industrielle SAInventor: Gerhard Keller

Patent number: 5292034Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the production of tubes from a prefinished pipe element, by pressing of heated plastic blanks to form a multi-layer tube head, with simultaneous bonding of the tube head to the pipe element. According to the invention, each layer of the multi-layer tube head is produced individually, by pressing of a newly introduced plastic blank in each case, where the next blank for the subsequent layer is not introduced and pressed until after the layer previously produced is stable in shape. The invention also relates to a tube made of a pipe element (1) having at least one plastic layer, and a multi-layer tube head (2) molded on by pressing heated plastic blanks, with a neck part (8) opening out centrally in a dispensing opening (9) with an outside thread (11) to screw on a closure cap, where according to the invention, each layer (3, 6, 5) of the multi-layer tube head (2) is pressed in individually, layer by layer, onto the upper end of the pipe element (1).Type: GrantFiled: November 25, 1991Date of Patent: March 8, 1994Assignee: AISA Automation Industrielle SAInventor: Gerhard Keller
