Abstract: An exterior component of a vehicle includes a substrate and a multilayer coating film covering a surface of the substrate, the multilayer coating film includes a first coating film closest to the substrate, a second coating film that is in contact with the first coating film and covers a part of the surface of the first coating film, and a third coating film that is transparent and covers the first coating film and the second coating film so as to be in contact with the second coating film and a portion of the first coating film that is not covered with the second coating film, and the third coating film has a refractive index of 1.5210 or more.
