    Abstract: The present invention relates to methods of overcoming the resistance to an EGFR (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor)-targeting antibody through a peptide that binds specifically to neuropilin-1 (NRP1). Moreover, the present invention relates to a fusion antibody in which a peptide that binds specifically to NRP1 is fused to an EGFR-targeting antibody, and to a composition of overcoming the resistance to an EGFR-targeting antibody alone by co-administration of the EGFR-targeting antibody and an NRP1-binding peptide-fused Fc. In addition, the fusion antibody according to the present invention, in which the NRP1-specific binding peptide is fused to an EGFR-targeting antibody, overcomes the resistance to the EGFR-targeting antibody alone in pancreatic cancer. Furthermore, the fusion antibody, in which the NRP1-specific binding peptide is fused to the EGFR-targeting antibody, also overcomes resistance to the EGFR-targeting antibody alone even in lung cancer.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to methods of preventing or treating skin necroptosis diseases, including administering to subjects receptor-interacting protein kinase-3 (RIP3)-mixed lineage kinase domain-like protein (MLKL) pathway blockers or dabrafenib, and method of diagnosing of skin necroptosis diseases, including detecting phosphorylated MLKL. The RIP3-MLKL pathway blockers according to the present invention directly suppress RIP3 overexpressing in skin necroptosis diseases, or inhibit phosphorylation and translocation to plasma membranes of MLKL, subsequently induced therefrom, thereby effectively preventing skin cell death via necroptosis. Thus, the present invention can prevent or treat a variety of skin diseases caused by necroptosis.

More specifically, a proteasome inhibitor alone cannot exhibit an anticancer effect on solid cancers and some blood cancers, but when the proteasome inhibitor and loperamide are co-administered or a composition containing the proteasome inhibitor and loperamide is provided, cancer cell death by the proteasome inhibitor can be effectively induced, thereby exhibiting an improved anticancer effect, and enhancing anticancer effects on solid cancers and blood cancers while reducing side effects caused by a high-concentration of the proteasome inhibitor. Therefore, the composition containing the proteasome inhibitor and loperamide as active ingredients, according to the present invention, can be useful for preventing or treating cancer, and loperamide can be provided as an anticancer supplement when the proteasome inhibitor is used to treat cancer.

    Abstract: Provided are an injectable tissue adhesive hydrogel including gamma-cyclodextrin (?-CD). When such an injectable tissue adhesive hydrogel including the ?-CD is used as a skin glue, based on a fact that the ?-CD has a bigger hydrophobic cavity than that of ?- and ?-CDs, the injectable tissue adhesive hydrogel including the ?-CD has stronger interactions than host-guest interactions. In addition, hydrogen bonding in the injectable tissue adhesive hydrogel including the ?-CD can improve both cohesiveness and adhesiveness of gelatin. The injectable tissue adhesive hydrogel including the ?-CD having excellent cell viability is used for adhesion of a skin incision, to thereby effectively promote tissue regeneration.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method of preparing a metal oxide-graphene nanocomposite, including preparing a nanocomposite material, forming graphene flakes by pretreating the nanocomposite material, and hydrothermally synthesizing the pretreated nanocomposite material. A method of manufacturing an electrode using the metal oxide-graphene nanocomposite is also provided. According to this invention, the metal oxide-graphene nanocomposite is synthesized from inexpensive graphite through one-step processing using only a surfactant, in place of conventional methods using oxidants, reductants and high-temperature heat, thereby lowering the number of processing steps and processing costs. Also, in the fabrication of the electrode, low electrical resistance characteristic of graphene is applied as it is, in place of the conventional use of active material, conductive material and binder, thereby exhibiting desired processing efficiency without the addition of the conductive material.
