    Abstract: Processes for the production of products containing fluorine-containing counds of lower molecular weight by irradiation with high-energy electrons of a dispersion of particles of solid polymers of tetrafluoroethylene and similar perfluoroolefins in an oligomer of the same or a different perfluoroolefin which is liquid at the reaction temperature and having a lower average molecular weight than the solid perfluoroolefin polymers while passing an inert or reactive gas therethrough, and an apparatus in which such processes can be performed.
