Abstract: A hanger running tool for installing a hanger in a well. The hanger running tool includes a central bore, a hanger engagement arrangement having an engaged position in which the hanger engagement arrangement is coupled to the hanger and a disengaged position in which the hanger engagement arrangement is decoupled from the hanger, and a pressure-controlled anchoring actuator which actuates an anchoring arrangement. The pressure-controlled anchoring actuator has an actuation surface. The hanger engagement arrangement has the engaged position in response to an increase in a pressure at a first pressure source, and the disengaged position in response to an increase in a pressure inside the central bore. The pressure-controlled anchoring actuator is actuated in response to an increase in a pressure on the actuation surface so that the anchoring arrangement anchors the hanger to an anchor point.

  • Patent number: 11885217
Abstract: An assembly includes two tubular elements, a primary and a secondary seal arranged between the two tubular elements, a seal cavity formed between the two tubular elements and the primary and the secondary seal, and a seal monitoring apparatus having a housing and a position sensor. The housing has a chamber enclosing a separator which divides the chamber into a first and a second sub-chamber. • Publication number: 20240003212
Abstract: A wellhead system includes a wellhead assembly which is generally tubular, a landing string assembly, and an orientation sensor assembly which is mounted on the landing string assembly. The wellhead assembly is secured to a top of a borehole and has an orientation engagement part. The landing string assembly is lowered into the wellhead assembly to land in the wellhead assembly. The landing string assembly has an orientation part with an orientation feature. The orientation engagement part of the wellhead assembly corresponds to the orientation feature. As the landing string assembly is lowered into the wellhead assembly, the orientation feature engages with the orientation engagement part to rotate the landing string assembly about its longitudinal axis into a desired orientation relative to the wellhead assembly. The orientation sensor assembly measures an angular rotation of the landing string assembly about its longitudinal axis.

Abstract: A retrievable connection module for establishing a fluid flow between a subsea station and a subsea flow line. The connection module includes a first fluid port, a first connection profile, a second fluid port, a second connection profile, and a utility arrangement which alters or monitors an aspect or a characteristic of the fluid flow between the first and the second fluid ports. The first connection profile is releasably couplable to a flow line to permit a fluid communication between the flow line and the first fluid port. The second connection profile is releasably couplable to the subsea station to permit a fluid communication between a subsea well and the second fluid port. The first connection profile disconnects the flow line and restricts the fluid communication at the first fluid port. The second connection profile disconnects from the subsea station and restricts the fluid flow at the second fluid port.
