Abstract: The invention is directed to vacuum cleaner (1) comprising a horizontal type cleaner body (2) with a front (5) and back side (6) and two lateral sides (7), at least one primary stage cyclone dust separator (8) having a dust outlet opening fluidly connected to a primary stage dust collecting chamber (9), and at least one secondary stage cyclone dust separating unit (12). The primary stage dust collecting chamber (9) and the at least one secondary stage cyclone dust separating unit (12) is mounted at the front side (5) in a lateral side by side arrangement in between the lateral sides (7).
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a vacuum cleaner (1) comprising a horizontal type cleaner body (2) with a bottom (3), top (4), front (5) and back side (6), a suction blower unit accommodated in the cleaner body (2) and at least one primary stage cyclone dust separator (7) having an air inlet opening fluidly coupled to the suction blower unit, wherein in bottom to top direction the primary stage cyclone dust separator (7) is positioned over the suction blower unit, and wherein the air inlet opening and a dust outlet opening of the primary stage cyclone dust separator (7) are located towards the back side (6) and front side (5) respectively.
Abstract: A vacuum cleaner cyclone separator having a cyclone with a first end wall, a second opposite end wall (35,36,135), and an intermediate part (38,130), which has the shape of either a cylinder or, at least partly, an up-side-down truncated cone. The intermediate part has an outlet opening (39,131) for particles through which particles separated by the cyclone leave from the intermediate part toward the second end wall. The cyclone is, close to the first end wall, provided with a generally tangentially-directed air inlet (33,129) for dust laden air and also has a tube shaped air outlet (50,142) extending from the first end wall (35) toward the intermediate part and communicating with a vacuum source (15,111).
