Abstract: A powder inhalator which is activated by the air flow generated at inhalation and which is intended for inhalation of solid pharmacologically active compound in micronized form, said inhalator comprising a nozzle 2, an air conduit 6, a dosing unit 10 comprising a storage chamber 5 for the active compound and dosing means 8, and a maneuvering unit 1, characterized in that the dosing unit 10 comprises a storage chamber 5 for the active compound, a perforated membrane 4, a holder 9 for the said perforated membrane, and dosing means 8 for introducing active compound into the perforations in the perforated membrane 4, whereby means are arranged for displacing the membrane 4 in relation to the dosing means 8, whereby in a first position solid active compound in micronized form is introduced into the perforations in part of the area of the membrane 4 and in a second position the said part of the membrane 4 is inserted in the air conduit 6 for the air to be inhaled.

Abstract: The invention refers to compounds having anti-inflammatory activity, characterized by the formula ##STR1## in the form of a stereoisomeric mixture or an epimer of the R or S type regarding the orientation of the substituents at the carbon atom in position 22, in which formula A is n-propyl or n-butyl and Z is hydroxyl or hydroxyl esterified with a fatty acid with a straight or branched hydrocarbon chain having 1-5 carbon atoms.The invention also refers to a process for the preparation of these compounds, a pharmaceutical preparation containing one of the compounds and a method for the treatment and control of inflammatory conditions.

The water solutions thereof give a palatable, acceptable peroral zinc solution and are useful for treating leg ulcers, post-operative wounds, decubital ulcers and other diseased conditions in zinc anemia.

Abstract: Novel compounds are disclosed having useful activity as bronchodilators of improved longevity of action and reduced incidence of side effects. These compounds are described by the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a member of the class consisting of tertiary butyl and cyclobutyl, and R.sub.2 is a hydrogen or 2 to 5 carbon atom acyl radical, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The activity of these compounds is compared to previously known bronchodilators such as 1-(3', 5'-dihydroxyphenyl)-2-(isopropylamino)-ethanol, having the common name orciprenaline, and 1-(3', 4'-dihydroxyphenyl-2-isopropylamino-ethanol, having the common name isoprenaline.
