  • Patent number: 6250693
Abstract: A device for connecting two tubular pipe sections. A sealing device is arranged between the pipe sections. At their ends, the pipe sections in each case have a flange-type end piece. The pipe sections are held together by a spring device using a pre-tensioning force, the spring device having a mid-section extending at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the pipe sections. The spring device has a spring element, from whose transverse sides of the mid-section, which extend at right angles to the longitudinal axes of the pipe sections, spring limbs extend. Forming an at least approximate U-shape with the mid-section, the spring limbs extend at least partially over the periphery of the pipe sections, the spring limps each having a centrical cut-out that is adapted to the outside diameter of the pipe sections and in which a pipe section is accommodated in each case in the mounted state of the spring element.

  • Patent number: 6250563
Abstract: An actuator is operatively connected to a closing member via a tappet. The closing member is introduced in a valve chamber and forms, with a conically tapering valve seat as part of a servovalve, a seal resistant to high pressure. The cross section of the closing member is configured to be mushroom-shaped, a closing head being in the form of a part-sphere and having a central flattening, with the result that the tappet has an enlarged bearing surface. A stem of the closing member is surrounded by a valve spring. The closing member is preferably shaped out of a solid sphere.

  • Patent number: 6252893
Abstract: At least one monitor laser having an associated monitor diode. The monitor diode is connected to an electronic circuit that controls the monitor laser, while correspondingly driving the semiconductor lasers in parallel, in such a way that an electrical signal from the monitor diode constantly has a preset value. This value and a nominal signal corresponding to the nominal value of the optical power of the monitor laser are used to form a correction variable. If a current flowing through a semiconductor laser exceeds the current through the monitor laser, weighted by the correction variable, then the power of the semiconductor laser is reduced. In this manner, the transmitting device is of simple construction and at the same time avoids unacceptably high powers in the semiconductor lasers.

  • Patent number: 6252186
Abstract: A switching device has a closing device and a traversing mechanism for insertion and retraction relative to an insertion frame, where the said devices can be operated only in the OFF state of the switching device. A blocking bar having a cam element that cooperates with a carrier of an OFF operator is guided by elongated holes behind an operator's console of the switching device. The carrier and the cam element work together in such a way that the OFF operator can be pulled inward when the blocking bar is operated, thus signaling to the user that the switching device is locked in the OFF state.

  • Publication number: 20010004147
Abstract: A ride leveler system in vehicles with an adjustable wheel suspension device between a vehicle wheel and the vehicle body, with a height sensor for measuring the actual height between a vehicle wheel, and with an electronic control device which specifies a target height and adjusts the wheel suspension device until the attainment of the target height. If there is a deviation between target and actual height, the electronic control device adjusts the wheel suspension device for a minimum period of time independent of the course of the actual height. Following expiration of the minimum control time, the adjustment is switched off at a point in time at which the measured actual height has attained the value of the target height for the first time.
