Abstract: A mounting bracket for a hand shower having a support stem has a support adapted to be stationarily fixed, a holder formed with a forked seat shaped to receive the hand-shower stem, and interengaging formations on the holder and support for pivoting of the holder on the support about a normally horizontal axis while retaining the holder and support against relative axial movement. An array of radially extending ridges formed on the support, surrounding the axis, and projecting toward the holder engage with complementary ridges formed on a flange of a retaining element rotationally coupled to the holder. A locking bolt axially fixed in the support axially presses the retaining-element ridges against the support ridges so that the holder can be pivoted about the axis on the support with elastic deformation of the flange.
Abstract: A color photographic recording material with a reflective support which contains a spectrally sensitized silver halide emulsion containing at least one sensitizer for the spectral region B in a layer free from color coupler adjacent at least one dye-producing silver halide emulsion layer sensitized for the spectral region A, the sensitivity of the spectrally sensitized silver halide emulsion of the layer free from color coupler being lower by 0.6 to 2.5 log H units than the sensitivity of the sensitized silver halide emulsion of the dye-producing silver halide emulsion layer, is distinguished by an extended gradation range in the region of the maximum densities and, hence, by distinctly improved fine detail resolution at high densities.

Abstract: A process for compensating systematic errors of an acceleration sensor. The result of a sliding average of the output of the accelerometer, determined when acceleration in the primary measurement direction is zero, is subtracted from the output of the accelerometer thus producing a signal representative of acceleration only in the primary direction. A functional check of the accelerometer is provided by aligning the accelerometer in a second direction and comparing the acceleration measured in this second direction to the acceleration measured in the primary direction by a second device for determining acceleration and indicating a malfunction when the two measured accelerations are different and it is determined that acceleration only in the primary direction is present.

Abstract: In addition to the metal-fiber filter and molecular sieve of a depressurization system for the containment vessel of a nuclear reactor, within an auxiliary equipment building adjacent the structure surrounding the containment vessel, at least one metal-fiber filter and at least one molecular sieve form filter elements of a system for evacuating the space between the structure and the containment.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for the stacking of paper engages the oncoming sheets at their rear ends between clamping elements on upper and lower belts and is so provided that the rear ends are deflected perpendicular to the direction of feed so that the oncoming sheets can effectively shingle over underlying sheets. The clamping portions are engaged at the feeding speed of the sheets at the moment of initial contact, are then slowed down to reduce the speed of the sheets, then release the sheets and then return to the usual speed for the pickup of the next sheet.

Abstract: A drilling and chiseling bit includes a base member (1) having an axis extending in the drilling and chiseling direction. The base member has an end face disposed transversely of the axis, with a recess (3) extending in the axially direction inwardly from the end face. A cutting member (2) is secured in the recess by a soldered joint. At least one of the base member and cutting member is formed to prevent the development of shear stress peaks in the end regions of the recess extending transversely of the axial direction. To prevent the shear stress peaks, relief notches or recesses can be provided in the base member (1) or the soldered joint (4) can have a variable thickness in the axial direction increasing towards the opposite ends of the recess.
