Abstract: Compounds of the general formula I ##STR1## where R is alkyl or unsubstituted or substituted aryl and K is a radical of the formula ##STR2## B is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or substituted amino, R.sup.1 is hydrogen, methyl, methoxy or ethoxy, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 independently of one another are each unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, R.sup.3 may furthermore be hydrogen, R.sup.4 is a radical of the formula --A--OCO--Y--R, Z is hydrogen or methyl, X is hydrogen, methyl, methoxy, chlorine or acylamino, A is C.sub.2 - or C.sub.3 -alkylene and Y is --O-- or --NH--, are very useful for dyeing cellulose esters and synthetic polyesters.

Abstract: An arrangement for the gasification of fuels with oxygen or oxygen-containing gases and steam, includes a shaft-like vessel for receiving solid charging stock. A gas discharge duct is provided on the upper end of the vessel and a primary gas chamber is in connection with the shaft-like vessel on its lower end via a passage. In the primary gas chamber a burner is provided, which includes feedings for oxygen or oxygen-containing gases as well as for fuels. A trough for receiving slag is arranged below. the primary gas chamber and a supporting bottoms is provided between the trough and the shaft-like vessel, reaching into the primary gas chamber, for the formation of a dumping material bed of the solid charging stock facing the burner by one dumping surface. In order to be able to gasify low-quality fuels into a high-quality product gas, the primary gas chamber includes a charging opening for charging a charging stock to be gasified.
Abstract: The present invention provides a crawler unit having a superstructure and a substructure and an excavating device for recovering bulk material. The excavating device has bearing regions and drive regions and also has vertically arranged shearing drums for cutting free the bearing and drive regions. The shearing drums have upper ends which are inclined obliquely forward.

Abstract: The invention concerns a supercharged internal combustion engine in which two inlet ducts, which can be closed by inlet valves and whose flows are separated from one another, and two exhaust ducts which can be closed by exhaust valves enter the combustion space of a cylinder, one inlet duct and one exhaust duct being associated with one exhaust gas turbocharger. In order to achieve both a rapid build-up of supercharge pressure in the case of positive load changes and also an optimum homogenization of the mixture in the combustion space, the two exhaust ducts are also arranged so that their flows are separated and the inlet and exhaust side connected to the same exhaust gas turbocharger can be closed by one shut-off element each.

Abstract: A method for forming a T-gate for a MESFET device comprises a double exposure, double develop process. In a first exposure employing lithography a layer of PMMA is applied first to a substrate and spun to a desired thickness and then baked for a predetermined period. The gate pattern was aligned to the ohmic level and either E-beam written or exposed to deep UV radiation through a quartz mask. The wafer as treated was then spray developed using a mixture of MIBK and alcohol. After coating with a Novolak resist, the same gate mask was either realigned to the Ohmic level and exposed to mid-range UV radiation in the 400 nm range or alternatively E-beam written with a modified gate pattern to eliminate the T at the gate pad. The wafer was then spray developed again, this time using LSI developer. The second photo was overexposed in order to form a large opening through the top of the T while the first photo was underexposed to make the stem of the T as narrow as possible.
Abstract: This invention concerns a circuit arrangement for current limiting for a.c. machines with phase gating control by solid-state devices, aimed at achieving a smooth start by arresting the steady decrease in the ignition angles upon the attainment of a predetermined limiting current value. For use with single-phase measurement of the load current, a circuit is provided for measuring the instantaneous value of the magnitude of the load current, such as a threshold-value detector, which is actuated by a single-phase full-wave rectified load current. The output of this threshold-value detector is applied to a monostable digital device.
Abstract: A rod shaped or tubular housing for a sensor includes an interior space provided with upper and lower compensating openings and within which an ultrasound measured distance device. Below the ultrasound measured distance device, the interior is connected to the lower compensating opening through a narrow channel proceeding in an axial direction of the housing. The housing is formed of two half shells of plastic joined to one another whose wall parts engage into one another to form the narrow channel. The ultrasound transducers and the electrical leads are embedded into the half shells. A second ultrasound measured distance device which is in direct communication with the surrounding space may be provided above the interior space. The ultrasound transducer of the measured distance device is excited to transmit in a pulsed fashion.
