  • Patent number: 4926769
Abstract: In an automatic sewing device the sewing head has, for producing a tangential path of the needle relative to the seam to be produced, a rotary housing which receives the needle bar and a likewise rotatable hook bearing which receives the hook and which can be tilt driven by an adjusting shaft at the same angle of rotation as the rotary housing. A drive shaft is provided for driving the needle bar and the hook. To enable even pivoting movements of the rotary housing in a simple embodiment without a change in the height of the needle bar occurring, there are provided a device for the drive-like connection of the adjusting shaft and the drive shaft and a device for the disengagement of the drive motor from the drive shaft.

  • Patent number: 4927382
Abstract: In an electrical function group, a useful circuit having electrical module units is electrically connected via a plug-type connector. The plug-type connector is equipped with a longer and with a shorter contact pin, so that the shorter contact pin separates first when the plug-type connector comes apart. The longer contact pin is a useful contact that closes the useful circuit and the shorter contact pin is a signal contact that closes a signal circuit. The signal circuit contains a monitoring arrangement that generates an alarm when the signal circuit is parted by the signal contact. As a result thereof, an incipient parting event of the plug-type connector is recognized before the useful circuit is separated.

  • Patent number: 4926574
Abstract: A rifle exhibits a cage axially movable in the barrel direction, a triggering system, except for the firing lever, being attached to this cage. Preferably, the cage is located within a base box through which extended cage axles are guided in slotted holes. By means of a safety including a cocking and, respectively, uncocking position, two conditions can be set from the rifle stock. In the safety position, the operative connection of the firing lever to a trigger sear lever is interrupted. Additionally, a pin at the trigger sear lever is caught in a slotted hole in the wall of the base box. When a shot is fired, the striker member overcomes a detent at the end of the catch lever because the catch lever can yield in the downward direction. During loading or repeating, the striker member is retracted, and the catch lever is again supported by the trigger sear lever (independently of whether a cocked or uncocked condition prevails).

  • Patent number: 4928308
Abstract: An echo canceller circuit contains a network of capacitors binary-stepped in their capacitance, whose one set of plates, representing a center of the network, each are switchably connectable to a reference potential or, in the case of less significant bits of digital information to be converted, to ground potential, or to a fraction (U3, U4) of the reference potential. To avoid difficulties which might result from the offset voltage of an integrated operational amplifier (V) connected to the capacitor network, the network is composed of two symmetrical halves (COo' to C32o; COn' to 32n).

  • Patent number: 4927740
Abstract: Orifices, cavities or spaces which are formed when printing plates are mounted on a plate cylinder are closed and/or sealed by means of a pasty, photocurable sealing or closing compound consisting of one or more photopolymerizable, ethylenically unsaturated low molecular weight compounds (a), one or more polymeric binder (b) which are compatible with the said compounds of component (a), one or more photopolymerization initiators (c) and one or more finely divided oxidic fillers (d) which, when mixed with components (a) to (c), give mixtures which are transparent to long-wavelength UV light. After it has been applied, this sealing or closing compound is cured by exposure and can then be mechanically processed. The process is particularly suitable for closing and/or sealing orifices, cavities or spaces in gravure printing plates mounted on plate cylinders.

  • Patent number: 4927513
Abstract: A method and apparatus for fabricating magneto-optical, storable, and/or deletable data carriers. One or more layers, each comprising two or more different chemical materials, are applied on a substrate (4) by means of a magnetron sputtering system (1). The fractional composition of each layer is controlled by changing the strength of the magnetic field produced by the magnetron system (1). By means of a suitable measuring device (51, 58) the compensation temperature of a particular layer is measured and compared with a desired value. If the measured compensation temperature differs from the desired value, the desired value can be attained by adjusting the cathode voltage U.sub.K of the magnetron system. A controller (63) is provided for controlling the cathode voltage and adjusting the distance between the magnetron system's target (6) and magnets (8, 9, 10).
