Abstract: An electric switch with a set of stationary contacts and a set of movable contacts situated on a contact bridge (30) between an IN-position and an OUT-position includes a forcibly guiding mechanism (32) for manual handling of the contact bridge (30) and an ejector mechanism (56) and a trip device (74) co-operating with the ejector mechanism, whereby the contact bridge (30) is automatically longitudinally displaced from its IN-position to its OUT-position when an overloading, a fault or a signal current is present. The forcibly guiding mechanism (32) and the contact bridge (30) are interconnected by means of a releasably blocking device in such a manner that the ejector mechanism (56) in the releasing state need only overcome frictional forces between the stationary and the movable contacts as the blocking device is released by means of the trip device (74).
Abstract: A switch housing includes two identical halves forming a top wall and a bottom wall each of which has transverse countersinks. The countersinks are provided with permanently secured polygonal nut members for receiving screws for fastening the mounting ends of L-shaped fixed contacts and external terminals. The countersinks also have elongated holes for receiving the contact ends of L-shaped contacts.
Abstract: A manual device for operating an electrical switch. The handle is mounted in the door of the cubicle in which the switch is mounted. The device compensates for misalignment due to mounting tolerances and establishes a locking of the door in certain positions of the handle and switch. These functions are obtained by means of a misalignment compensating unit which is completely enclosed in a housing (10). The outer shape of the housing (10) interacts with a well (13) in the handle, and the rear part of the housing (10), one edge of which has a taper (18), interacts with a device in the shape of a slide (17).
Abstract: A screwless wire terminal for electric conductors, consisting of a plate-shaped contact against which the conductors are pressed by means of a leaf spring of particular shape. The leaf spring has a U- and a T-shaped part, the stem of the latter starting at the inside of the U-shaped part. The two differently shaped spring parts lie at each side of the plate-shaped contact which has an aperture, the stem of the T-shaped part passing therethrough. Sharp spring edges at the T cross-piece engage the conductors thereby preventing conductor pull-out.
Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing articles oriented in a predetermined way and comprising a cylindrical container for accommodating the articles to be oriented and dispensed, a spiral formed groove or slot being provided in the bottom of the container and extending from the outer area of the bottom to the center of the bottom at which the groove or slot merges into a hole having a diameter which is greater than the width of the groove or slot, a chute is connected to the hole for acommodating articles fed to the hole by the groove or slot and guiding the articles to a working station, the cylindrical container is supported by a frame for rotation about an inclined axis and a motor is connected to the container for rotating the container about the inclined axis.
