Abstract: A liquid composition is provided, comprising 2 to 30 wt % of a non-ionic water-soluble polysaccharide ether, 55 to 90 wt %, of a polyol having 3 to 4 hydroxyl groups, 5 to 25 wt % of water, and 0.1 to 5 wt % of at least one multivalent inorganic anion salt. The invention also provides agricultural formulations obtained by adding such a liquid composition and an agriculturally active ingredient to water.

Abstract: Latex emulsions are disclosed which can be used in the formation of coating compositions that are not water sensitive, have good blush resistance and retortability. In some embodiments, the coating compositions are used to coat substrates such as cans and packaging materials for the storage of food and beverages. Coating compositions can be prepared by mixing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer component and a stabilizer comprising a strong acid, in a carrier to form a monomer emulsion, reacting the monomer emulsion with an initiator to form the latex emulsion, and reacting the latex emulsion with a neutralizer. Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the production of powders redispersible in water comprising an organic component and a water-soluble organic polymeric protective colloid. The organic component is dispersed and stabilized with the protective colloid in water to form a stable dispersion which is dried to form the powder redispersible in water. The organic component comprises abietic acid, sylvic acid, neoabietic acid, levopinaric acid, pimaric acid, isopimaric acid and/or palustric acid and/or their derivatives. The water-soluble organic polymeric protective colloid comprises synthetic protective colloids and naturally and/or synthetically produced biopolymer which can be synthetically modified. The obtained powder reduces efflorescence in hydraulically set systems.
