  • Patent number: 11923748
Abstract: An improved efficiency cooling plate apparatus for full-scale clean fuel electric-powered aircraft having a cooling body including a plurality of bores, apertures and interior chambers working together to process and circulate fluid coolant and function as a heat sink device, interconnecting with the cooling system of an electric motor and cooperatively functioning to transfer thermal energy away from the electric motor using conduction, convection and radiation, while transporting heated fluid coolant away from heated motor components and to other components of a vehicle for further processing, then returning cooled fluid coolant into the cooling system of an electric motor, effectively partitioning heated fluid coolant, cooled fluid coolant, and electrical circuitry in a space saving design formed from a single part or minimal number of parts to reduce modes of failure and reduce required fasteners or connections to improve robustness and reliability while maintaining suitable aerodynamic characteristics.

  • Patent number: 11909079
Abstract: A fuel cell oxygen delivery system, method, and apparatus for full-scale clean fuel electric-powered vehicle having a fuel cell module including a plurality of fuel cells working together that augments gaseous oxygen from ambient air and gaseous hydrogen extracted from liquid hydrogen by pressure change or heat exchangers, with fuel cells containing electrical circuits configured to collect electrons from the plurality of hydrogen fuel cells to supply voltage and current to motor controllers commanded by control units configured to control an amount and distribution of electrical voltage and torque or current for each of one or more motor and propeller or rotor assembly, wherein electrons returning from the electrical circuits combine with both oxygen derived from air and onboard oxygen from the delivery system to form oxygen ions, then protons combine with oxygen ions to form H2O molecules and heat.

  • Patent number: 11649059
Abstract: An integrated multimode thermal energy transfer system, method and apparatus for full-scale clean fuel electric-powered multirotor aircraft with automatic on-board-capability to provide sensor-based temperature awareness and adjustment to critical components and zones of the aircraft. Automatic computer monitoring, including by a programmed triple-redundant digital autopilot computer, controls each motor-controller and motor to produce pitch, bank, yaw and elevation, while simultaneously measuring, calculating, and adjusting temperature and heat transfer of aircraft components and zones, to protect critical components from exceeding operating parameters and to provide a safe, comfortable environment for occupants during flight.

  • Patent number: 11390374
Abstract: Methods and systems for a clean fuel, manned or unmanned aircraft, having an electric, low-emission or zero-emission lift and propulsion system, an integrated ‘highway in the sky’ avionics system for navigation and guidance, a tablet-based motion command, or mission planning system to provide the operator with drive-by-wire style direction control, and automatic on-board-capability to provide traffic awareness, weather display and collision avoidance. Automatic computer monitoring by a programmed multiple-redundant autopilot control units control each motor-controller and motor to produce pitch, bank, yaw and elevation, while simultaneously restricting the flight regime that the pilot can command, to protect the pilot from inadvertent potentially harmful acts that might lead to loss of control or loss of vehicle stability. By using the results of the state measurements to inform motor control commands, the methods and systems contribute to the operational simplicity, reliability and safety of the vehicle.
