Abstract: An at least partially metalized plastic product for cosmetic and perfume packaging comprising a plastic body, the plastic body being directly covered at least partially by a metal layer, wherein the plastic is a polyolefin selected from: polyethylene, polypropylene, their copolymer or their mixture; and in that when the polyolefin comprises at least one polypropylene or a copolymer of polypropylene-polyethylene, this polyolefin has an infrared spectrum having: a peak at the wave number of 720 cm?1 of a height at least equal to 20; or a peak at the wave number of 809 cm?1 of a height less than 20, a peak at the wave number of 840 cm?1 of a height less than 50, a peak at the wave number of 899 cm?1 of a height less than 20, and a peak at the wave number of 997 cm?1 of a height less than 60.
Abstract: An applicator for a cosmetic product is provided, which includes a container having an opening, a first wiper element coupled to the container, proximate the opening, and an applicator arrangement removably coupled to the container. The applicator arrangement includes an elongate hollow tube that is slidable through the first wiper element and has an opening defined by a rim at a distal end and a second handle at a proximal end. The rim defines a second wiper element, and the first handle is releasably fitted to the second handle. When the applicator arrangement is removed from the container the first wiper element scrapes excess cosmetic product from the applicator element and when the first handle is separated from the second handle the second wiper element scrapes excess cosmetic product from the applicator element.
Abstract: An applicator arrangement (18) for a cosmetic product (12), comprising: a stem (20); first and second applicator elements (24, 26), fitted to the stem (20); and a sleeve (32) adapted to accommodates the stem (20), the sleeve being movable with respect to the stem (20) between a first position, in which the second applicator element (26) is shielded by the sleeve (32), and a second position, in which the second applicator element (26) is revealed so that both the first applicator element (24) and the second applicator element (26) are accessible.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the injection molding of a body having at least one wall portion covered on the outside by a label, that comprises: a) using a molding assembly (50) including two mobile parts, one of which at least includes a cavity for making said wall portion; b) using a pick-up means (10), a transfer means (20) and a deposition means (29) for the labels; c) actuating said transfer means so that the label is brought to the cavity and depositing said label in said cavity; d) removing said transfer means, and closing the molding assembly in order to proceed with molding; characterized in that it comprises using a machine including: A) a rotary platen (60) for supplying a plurality of work stations, and on which the molding assembly is mounted; B) an injection press provided at a work station, the molding assembly arriving in a closed and locked configuration at the station and being pressed against said injection press in order to fill the chamber; C) said transfer means (20) at an upstr
Abstract: The invention concerns an applicator (1) for cosmetic product, comprising: a pad element (2) having a first side for application of the cosmetic product and a second side opposite the first side, and a support element (3) comprising a central attached portion (8) and two side grasping portions (9, 10) arranged either side of the central attached portion (8), the central attached portion (8) being attached onto the second side (5) of the pad element (2), wherein the support element (3) is formed from a planar blank having two slots, each slot forming a space separating the central attached portion (8) from a side grasping portion (9, 10).
Abstract: A casing for a cosmetic article comprising a housing defining a window, a tray accommodated within the housing and being movable relative to the window of the housing, the tray accommodating the cosmetic article, and a zone defined within the housing and being movable relative to the window of the housing in response to the movement of the tray. The tray and the zone are movable relative to the housing between a retracted position, in which the cosmetic article is displayed through the window so that the cosmetic article can be visually inspected through the window, and an extended position, in which the tray protrudes from the housing to facilitate access to the cosmetic article and the zone can be viewed through the window. In an embodiment, the cosmetic product can be visually inspected through the window when the tray and the zone are in the retracted position.
Abstract: The invention relates to a laminated material for forming a flexible container for holding a hair dye or the like, the laminated material having a first surface which, in use, forms the internal surface of the container, and a second surface which, in use, forms the external surface of the container, the laminated material comprising an inner layer, an outer layer and an intermediate metal foil barrier layer, wherein the inner layer is on the first surface side of the metal foil barrier layer, and wherein the outer layer is on the second surface side of the metal foil barrier layer, wherein the laminated material has a total thickness of at most 240 ?m, and wherein the inner layer comprises polyethylene and has a mean density of 0.92 to 0.94 g/cm3.
