Ticketing information may be ascertained based on the identification. The ticketing information may be provided, actions may be performed using the ticketing information, and so on. In some implementations, a checkpoint device receives biometric data from a person. A digital representation of the biometric data is used to obtain an identifier from an identification system. The digital representation of the biometric data may not be included in the identifier. The identifier is used by to obtain ticketing information from a ticketing system. The person may be allowed or denied entry into a ticketed area based on the ticketing information.

Generally, the amount of infrared light required to accurately image the retina or iris increases with the distance of the subject's retina or iris from the image capture device. The biometric capture device may capture a facial image using a first image sensor, identify a face in the facial image, capture an iris image using a second image sensor guided by the facial image, and identify a person using the iris image.

The electronic device may update the identity information stored by the identity system device based on the action.

Abstract: A system performs digital notarization using a biometric identification service. A signature requesting service receives a request to validate a digital item with a signature for a person. The signature requesting service provides a payload that identifies the digital item and/or the person to an identity service. The identity service obtains one or more digital representations of biometrics for the person, determines an identity for the person, and returns a data structure including the payload and one or more identity attestations regarding the determined identity. The identity service encrypts at least a portion of the data structure using a private encryption key. A public encryption key for the identity service can then be used to decrypt the portion to verify that the data structure was generated by the identity service after determining the identity. In this way, validation can be verified to the full trust level of the identification service.

Abstract: A system translates a first biometric template of a first type to enable comparison with a second biometric template of a second type. In one example, a canonical template structure to which the first and second biometric templates adhere may be identified and used to compare corresponding portions of the first and second biometric templates. In another example, types and associated formats of the first and second biometric templates may be identified to enable both to be translated to a general format that can then be compared. In still other examples, an identification system may use the first biometric template to determine an identity associated with first biometric data to either retrieve second stored biometric data associated with the identity of a same type as the second biometric template or verify that an account in an external system having a record storing the second biometric template is associated with the identity.
