Abstract: Pants or shorts include a waist portion; first and second legs extending from the waist portion, the first and second legs defining a crotch region between the first and second legs; and a vented crotch gusset extending across the crotch region from the first leg to the second leg. Also discussed are pants including a waist portion; first and second legs extending from the waist portion, the first and second legs defining first and second knee regions, respectively; and a knee vent in each of the first and second knee regions.

Abstract: A head band comprises a band portion and a tightening portion. The band portion has a first band and a second band, wherein an outer surface of the first band opposes an inner surface of the second band. The head band further comprises at least one spacer between the first and the second band forming a gap between the first band and the second band. The tightening portion has a strap and a tightener configured to tighten the strap, wherein the strap is hingedly connected at approximately each end of the band portion. Other embodiments of the head band, and visors, caps, and hats incorporating the head band, are described herein.

Abstract: Convertible pants can include a waist portion, at least one leg connected to the waist portion, each leg including an upper leg portion and lower leg portion removably connected to the upper leg portion by a zipper, the zipper including an upper zipper track attached to the upper leg portion and a lower zipper track attached to the lower leg portion, and an upper zipper flap located on the upper leg portion proximate the upper zipper track, the upper zipper flap including a first reinforced portion extending substantially around the upper leg portion. The upper zipper flap can cover the zipper when the lower leg portion is connected to the upper leg portion by the zipper. A zipper system and garments incorporating the zipper system are also described.
