Further, the method comprises rendering and encoding the one or more SC layers using a first codec and the one or more non-SC layers using a second codec.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and an electronic device for providing product object information are disclosed. The method includes: providing an interactive content in a process of playing a live video content associated with a product object, the interactive content being generated according to a material associated with the product object, and the material being used to describe attributes of the product object; and providing a change process of the interactive content according to the material in a process of responding to interactive operation information inputted by a user, to enable a presentation of multiple attributes of the product object. Through the embodiments of the present disclosure, the product object information can be provided to consumers in a more comprehensive and intuitive manner, so as to help the users to make better shopping decisions.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and apparatuses for processing chroma sampled pictures. An exemplary video processing method includes: determining whether a chroma component is included in a sequence of frames; and in response to a determination that the chroma component is included in the sequence, activating a sub-process for processing the sequence, wherein the sub-process comprises one or more of joint coding for chroma residues (JCCR), block differential pulse coded modulation (BDPCM), palette mode, or adaptive color transform (ACT).

Abstract: Video encoding and decoding techniques for bi-prediction with weighted averaging are disclosed. According to certain embodiments, a computer-implemented video signaling method includes signaling, by a processor to a video decoder, a bitstream including weight information used for prediction of a coding unit (CU). The weight information indicates: if weighted prediction is enabled for a bi-prediction mode of the CU, disabling weighted averaging for the bi-prediction mode.

The method includes encoding or decoding, in a plurality of picture parameter sets (PPS) associated with pictures of a coded layer video sequence (CLVS), corresponding first PPS flags indicating whether pictures are allowed to be partitioned into a plurality of tiles or slices. In a first PPS, a corresponding first PPS flag with a first value indicates a first picture of the CLVS is unpartitioned, and in a second PPS, another corresponding first PPS flag with a second value being different from the first value indicates that a second picture of the CLVS is allowed to be partitioned.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for scheduling a virtual machine are disclosed in. The method includes predicting resource data required by a virtual machine in a next time period to obtain a prediction result; obtaining used resource data and available resource data of candidate host machines; adding the prediction result to used resource data of each candidate host machine to obtain a superimposition result of each candidate host machine; and separately comparing the superimposition result of each candidate host machine with available resource data of each host machine, and selecting a target host machine corresponding to the virtual machine from the candidate host machines. The present disclosure solves the technical problem of a large waste of resources caused by the needs of a host machine to reserve resources for respective peaks of each virtual machine in the existing technologies.

Abstract: A data processing method including: acquiring information of multiple first data blocks of a first level to be merged and information of multiple second data blocks of a second level to be merged, wherein each of the first data blocks of the first level has the same first size, and each of the second data blocks of the second level has the same second size; performing, according to the information of the multiple first data blocks and the information of the multiple second data blocks, data comparison on each of the first data blocks and each of the second data blocks; and performing, according to a comparison result, data compaction on the first level and the second level. The embodiments of the present disclosure effectively reduce system overheads caused by I/O data read and write and data comparison, thereby improving the system throughput.

Abstract: Data processing method and apparatus are disclosed. The method includes: processing input data based on the data processing network, to obtain intermediate data; acquiring a fixed attention feature output by the attention network, which is obtained after training the model with at least an initialized attention feature, respective attention weights included in the initialized attention feature are not all the same; processing the intermediate data based on the data aggregation network and according to the fixed attention feature, to obtain output data. The fixed attention network does not receive any input previously, that is, attention feature output by the attention network is irrelevant to input data. The fixed attention feature can not only allow a more important parameter of the model to play a greater role to improve accuracy of the model and determine importance of the parameter, but also be conducive to further compression of the model.

Abstract: A method for performing data compression in a multi-core processor comprises retrieving a chunk of data from a data array of a cache slice, wherein the cache slice is comprised within a cache associated with the multi-core processor, wherein the cache is distributed between a plurality of cache slices, and wherein each core of the multi-core processor can access each of the plurality of cache slices. The method further comprises calculating a bit mask for the chunk of data and, using the bit mask, shifting out elements in the chunk of data corresponding to zero values, wherein zero value elements in the chunk of data are shifted out and non-zero value elements in the chunk of data are retained. Finally, the method comprises writing the bit mask and the non-zero value elements to a memory.

The one or more first flags indicate whether the one or more coding modes are enabled for the video sequence. The at least one second flag indicates whether a multi-level control is activated for the one or more coding modes.

According to certain disclosed embodiments, an exemplary video processing method includes: receiving a first palette entry for palette coding a target coding unit (CU); determining whether the target CU is part of a single-tree slice; determining whether the target CU is coded with separate luma and chroma trees; and in response to the target CU being determined to be part of a single-tree slice and be coded with separate luma and chroma trees, decoding a first component of the target CU based on the first palette entry, and decoding a second component of the target CU based on a default palette entry.
