Also disclosed is a system comprising a plurality of hangers from which a curtain is capable of being released, a spool to which a cord is attachable, an engine capable of causing the spool to be rotated, and a rim through which the cord is pulled.

    Abstract: A modular crowd control barrier that is collapsible includes a rounded top rail and a rearward projecting horizontal boss with a bore and axel. The axel of one barrier connects to the respective bore of an adjacent barrier. A hinged gate with a latch and catch may pivotally connect adjacent barriers to each other.
