Abstract: A composition is disclosed which comprises cinnamon or cinnamon extract such as cinnamon aqueous extract TC 112 and panax ginseng or extract from panax ginseng standardized to 1.5 to 7% ginsenosides and may comprise an artificial sweetener. The composition is embodied in the form of a pill or food product with 120 mg of cinnamon aqueous extract and 120 mg of ginseng standardized to 1.5 to 7% ginsenosides. The composition is used as a daily dosage for improvement of cognitive function, prevention or treatment of Alzheimer's disease, maintenance or lowering of blood-sugar levels, prevention of arterial disease or the improvement of cognitive function in diabetics.
