    Abstract: A microwave resonator comprising a cavity (7) with a dielectric resonator device (8, 11) including a movable dielectric tuning body (11), which is mechanically coupled to an electrical motor (28). The tuning body is carried by an electrically nonconductive rod (12, 13) which is provided with a resiliently biassed (19) clamping element (15) adapted to clamp the plunger (11) against a stop means (14) on the rod.
